Can't remember how many times I've arrived at a rehearsal or concert/gig without an alto sax stand. Well, I saw another jazz workshop attendee with one of these. It's easy to use and fits neatly in the bell of the instrument for transport. Works well when space is tight on stage. I'd give it five stars except that it does require some care in use. As with any stand, the sax could fall off; it's maybe a bit more of a concern with the minimal stand. But so far no problems.
