I expect to be out of commission for about a month due to a shoulder injury so I researched and procured the K & M Electric Guitar Performer Stand. Originally, I was concerned about the balance but this does not appear to be a problem. The stand is heavy and stable. I expect to use it over the six month recovery period to continue playing gigs while healing from surgery. It was easy to assemble and use. I would recommend it for anyone who might have a physical condition that inhibits using a strap.

Works very well. Very sturdy and stable. Easy to adjust. Purchased to practice since I can't sit long due to back problems. A real God-send for me. Highly recommend. Pricey but worth it.
