The lower keyboard arms on this stick out a couple inches further towards the musician than the primary support arms on my Omega keyboard-stand. Before buying for use with a laptop, think carefully about where you want to attach these arms to your Omega keyboard stand, and the relative narrowness of the stand. There isn't really a good off-center laptop mounting position, and the support legs are a different height from the built-in Omega stand. Since this stand really only worked for my laptop use when mounted in the center of the Omega stand, it's not compatible with simultaneous use of a music desk attached to the Omega.

The K&M 18813.011.55 Stacker is the ideal addition to the keyboard stand 18810. No matter whether you want to connect a second keyboard or a laptop, the new stacker allows you to do either. The large lower support arms can hold the largest of keyboards. The upper support arms can easily carry a load of 55.07 lbs. A spring-loaded clamping screw makes the attachment fast and easy to adjust to the height you require. With a selection of eight different heights, it is easy to find a height to suit you. Self-adhesive rubber protectors prevent scratches or keyboard slip.
