How it Should've Been Designed All Along

The standard threaded mic adaptor that comes with the Spider Pro stand is not mounted firmly and is held in place by a rubber gasket. My boom arm constantly bounced around, especially over time as the gasket wore down. The new adaptor plate eliminates this problem. This should be a standard part of the Spider Pro, but until then, it's a worthwhile add on.
