I am very happy with the Kenko 1.4 Teleconverter for Canon EOS EF-S lenses. It?s small and lightweight and works perfectly with my Canon 55-250mm lens. I was happy to see the autofocus worked with it as well. I wanted more zoom but didn?t want to spend a fortune for something I?d only use occasionally.

Great teleconverter

High quality, well made.  Sharp optics but needs lot of light to work.  Not reliable in low light, it may not focus at all. It takes a long time hunting for focus and you miss the shot this way.
It works in my Canon 70-300 mm lens but sometimes not at full 300 mm.  Works better at lower magnification.
If you are aware of the shortcomings it a good addition to your gear.

Kenko 1.4x teleconverter.

This is the only teleconverter I found that would work with my Canon EFS 18-135 mm lens. I haven't done much with it yet, but the few images I've taken the autofocus seems to work just fine.

Nice teleconverter

The teleconverter arrived quickly and was packaged very well.

It has a good feel and not very flimsy. 
I originally purchased the teleconverter to use with my Canon T6i and Canon 70-300, but haven't had the opportunity to use it yet.

I did take a few indoor pictures with my Sigma 18-200 and was pleasantly surprised to find that the auto focus worked properly when it was zoomed at 200.  I had the camera in 
Av mode - f11.  It did seem  little slow to focus on darker areas using only the center focus dot, but did well in lighter areas.

Looking forward to more use as the weather gets a little warmer.

Good converter - not flimsy.

I have another teleconverter that does not modify the exim data.  This one does.  That means when you put it on it will add to your aperture automatically.  That is the down side.

I use it with an EFS 50-250mm f4-5.8.  That means minimum aperture will be f/8-11.

That being said, I am so glad I have this!  The power to double to my longest zoom is priceless.  And I can only do that because this allows me to use EFS lenses.  This is the only teleconverter I know that can do that.  I considered putting only 3 stars, but sorry!  You just have to pay for that advantage.  The AF also doesn't work at very long ranges.  I may not trust it that far out anyway.  I even couple it with another 2x and took some very clear shot of the moon.

In the end, yes!  This is a very vital part of my equipment setup.

Does what it was advertised.  Wanted something to boost my zoom ability, without having to spend $$$ on a zoom lens.  Eventually I will but this fits the bill just fine.

A nice zoom boost!!!

I was actually very surprised by this lens.  The quality on optic is incredible.  Some of my pics look even better with this extender attached then without it. Haven't been able to figure that one out but I don't care. I connected it to my Cannon 55-250 stm lens and a Samyang 100mm macro.  Both gave incredible details with this extender. The details on the macro was unreal. I only expected to use this to extend my telescopic lens to 500 but now I have a whole other world in macro thanks to this lens. Just keep in mind you will need to focus manually and in my experience, dropping the aperture by 2 gave me more detailed photos. Would definitely buy again.

excellent extender, high recommended

I needed a converter to be able to use my Sony lenses on my Canon cameras.  I knew if I called Adorama I would be able to get one.  Larry asked me what I needed and I told him.  He politely asked to put me on hold, came back and had one!  Than I asked for a 2X converter, he put me on hold and came back with that one!  He was very helpful and fun to talk too.  I told him that it is on my Bucket list to come to New York to walk into the actual store! Photography is one of my passions and now even more!  I received them in no time, way before I was told they would arrive.  I came home from work and tried them both out and both work!!!  I was so happy.  Thank you Larry and Adorama! I knew Adorama could help!

I believe the construction was good, the quality seemed good and the fit to the camera was secure.  Unfortunately the performance was not as I anticipated.  The return process was easy and straight forward.

Close but not what I anticipated

Works well, but autofocus does not work well with this attached.
It appears the autofocus dots do not line up exactly with the ones on the lens, and the camera hunts for correct focus.
