New User U : what is the expiration date?JEFFREY W : Expiration date on my film was 5/2018STEPHEN C : Each packet of film has an expiration date printed on it. However you can usually shoot beyond this date for a year or even two if the film was kept in a closet etc... where it's not too hot. You can freeze film for years and it works fine after defrosting.ANDREW R : Film is in-date unless otherwise specified. Exact expiration dates are unknown until the item is pulled for shipping.

Wish I could Add my developed photos!! For T-Max 100 Kodak film, but I will.

Kodak film has always been good and I see no reason to think other wise. I hope to finish using the film soon so I can develop it with Kodak developers, stop bath and fixer, Along with clearing agent probably as well. It’s great that Kodak has all the products still available to do analog, or as it’s properly known, film photography. Kodak’s products work well together and have a high rate of consistent performance, especially when used together. If you’re planning on getting into film photography, Go for it ! Be sure to try a few different system And be sure to regularly use Kodak! You won’t be disappointed!

12 stop latitude.

This film is amazing. I tested this by bracketing 21 stops. 10 stops overexposed and 10 stops underexposed. This film can recover when underexposed down to 2 stops, and overexposed up to 10 stops. Google search: "ultimate film vs digital dynamic range challenge" to see the results.

I've used a couple already, they have not yet been revealed but if they're the same quality as other Kodak film I'm sure they will be great!

Tmax 100

I have been using Ilford Delta 100 for a while, but decided to consolidate my film choices. The transition was easy for me, as I use Kodak Tmax 100 and 400 in 120 and 4x5 sizes. It’s a great fine grain film with smooth contrast. I am not writing this review to convince anyone to switch from Ilford Delta to Kodak Tmax, because they are both excellent film choices. Just glad Tmax 100 available in all sizes.

Excellent Fine Grain film!

I use this film to take pictures of vast landscapes just like Ansel Adams did with a 8 x 10 view camera. It is great because of the speed and the finest of the grain structure. Not anything which is not great about it.

Contrasty

Too much contrast for my taste when developed w/ Sprint, haven't tried in other developers. Noticeably clipped highlights. I may try shooting it at 50ASA later to see if the results are more to my liking. On the plus side, it is indeed very sharp.

If you love B&W

I have to admit I am a little biased because this is the only film I have ever used extensively, but I have never been disappointed. I use it mostly for nature and architecture photography (100 speed film is a lot easier to use if your subjects don't move) and generally get great textures, sharp edges, and beautiful light/shadow. Definitely use T-Max developer for best results.

I love this product!!

I use this product for my black and white photography class and always have good results! This product is best used for shooting outdoors with a good amount of light. If you do shoot indoors, make sure you have your camera placed firmly on some sort of base or your image will blur a little. I love how my prints turn out with this film and won't use any other kind for my class.

  • Expanded exposure latitude
  • Greater "forgiveness" with overexposure errors; quality prints from moderately under- or overexposed negatives
  • Better highlight separation
