Great Product. I have used this film before and have consistently gotten excellent results. The film is a fine grain, which is a definite plus when digitally scanned. I use this film in both 120 and 35mm sizes. I will definitely buy it again. Highly recommend.

This is my go-to film when shooting in black and white. I know everyone likes the Kodak 400 Tri-X, but I'm partial to the TMAX because I think it has somewhat better contrast and it's more forgiving when you want to print images that were over- or under-exposed, compared to the Tri-X.

My "go to" reliable fast film for great black and white images. When I don't have time or the opportunity to set my medium format cameras up on a tripod I rely on Kodak TMax 400 film for great handheld photos.

Prefer this over HO5, you get more tonality, less contrast, more dynamic range, fantastic for printing in darkroom, and for scans. Stock up now, before they stop making it

You likely won't get the full box speed with T-MAX 400, but it does wonders in the highlights. If highlight separation (contrast) is important, this film is my go-to film.

I have used Kodak T-Max films, both 35mm and 120 roll film and T-Max 100 and 400. It is the best B&W film I have used.

Love this - contrasty without being too harsh, great tonality and not too grainy.

I love to do black and white photography. I really like Kodak T-Max 400 for its relatively fine grain for an ISO 400 film.

Great film, low grain, consistent results. I use TMax 100 or 400 for most B&w applications

Good inventory is important which is the usual situation. Prices are always competitive. But main plus of Adorama is QUICK DELIVERY!! (Much faster than competitors) So, thanks and keep it up.

KODAK T-MAX 400 Professional Film is a continuous-tone panchromatic black-and-white negative film especially useful for photographing dimly lighted subjects or fast action, for extending flash distance range, and for photographing subjects that require good depth of field and fast shutter speeds with maximum image quality for the film speed. It is also useful for scientific and biomedical work, especially when fluorescence photography is required. It has high speed (ISO 400/27 Degree in most developers), very high sharpness, extremely fine grain, and high resolving power; it allows a high degree of enlargement.
A continuous tone, panchromatic black-and-white negative film that is especially useful for photographing dimly lighted subjects, fast action, extended range flash pictures, and subjects that require good depth of field. This film is highly useful for scientific and biomedical work, especially when fluorescence photography is required. Its high speed (EI 400), very high sharpness, extremely fine grain, and high resolving power enable a high degree of enlargement. You can expose it at a speed of EI 800 with normal processing, or at EI 1600 with push-processing to obtain excellent results. Applications include:
Fluorescence Photomicrography
Darkfield Photomicrography
Photomicrography of live biological specimens
