The Opsix Operator Mixer, with its added synthesis capabilities and programming, offers an efficient workflow and an even richer sound. Korg's latest creation, the Opsix module, supports MIDI 2.0 property exchange and poly aftertouch, making it an exceptional companion to the Keystage controller. The Opsix module is fully compatible with the sounds of the original Opsix, Opsix mk II, Opsix SE, and Opsix native software. It also supports numerous high-quality third-party libraries, ensuring that your sound and software stay up-to-date. Designed with a sleek, modern aesthetic, the Opsix module is housed in a new 19" rack-mountable enclosure. It maintains the same controls as the keyed models, making it easily transportable and a perfect fit for any studio or desktop production system. With the latest software updates, all models of Opsix, both hardware and software, now support MIDI 2.0 Property Exchange. Many of the original factory sounds have been updated to include Polyphonic Aftertouch modulation, with Channel Aftertouch also supported. The Opsix module is ingeniously designed for both desktop and rack-mount use. The panel is redesigned to fit into a standard 19" width, and the rear jack panel is recessed to allow easy access to cables, even with gear mounted directly above. For desktop setups, brackets offer a choice of panel angles: flatter for performing standing up, or more upright for working while seated in your studio. After a long period of supply-chain disruption, Korg is proud to fulfill the request of many musicians for a module version of the Opsix. The Opsix Altered FM Synthesizer is a testament to Korg's commitment to providing advanced, high-quality musical instruments and equipment.
