DO NOT BUY.  The speakers sounded great until they stopped producing sound.  This is a common issue with the R-26PF.  I have been trying to contact support for months but no response.  They will be in a landfill soon.    DO NOT BUY!

Not working and Klipsch support unresponsive

The amp stopped working within two years. Sent two request to Customer Support and never heard back. I went on the web and found out that this is very common with these speakers.

I would never buy these again or any other Klipsh products.

I purchased these as a simple solution for my father's 75th birthday.  He's an aging audiophile and was blown away by the sound and performance of these speakers.  They're perfect for those seeking simplicity in a sound-system set up.

Simple excellence for today's sound needs

I have had these for a few months and the static white noise they produce has driven my wife and I to simply using the built in TV speakers instead of these.  The speakers, are well built, go very loud, and sound great.  Only two issues is the bluetooth range is about 15ft, and the constant static noise that has made me want to return these.  If I was to do it again, I would buy the non-powered version so that I could hook it up to my own amp and likely avoid the static noise issue.

Everything I wanted, but constant white noise

I listen to a wide variety of music. Nearly all styles lack low end oomph on this sound system. The bass is entirely missing -- surprising for floor-standing speakers. The remote control is flimsy and needs perfect line of sight. The LED indicators on the speakers are too dim to see in sunlight.

Most importantly the amp blew out after 6 months of use. I live in a condo so I am not exactly pushing the system to its extremes.

Klipsch's customer support never responded to my online support ticket so I had to call. After a nice long, long wait, they helped me out and sent me a replacement amp and remote. The amp, I need to reinstall myself.

I wouldn't purchase this speaker if I could do it again. Quality of craftsmanship, longevity, sound quality, and customer support all suck. Go with another option.

Speakers lack bass and stopped working in less than 6 months

Great speakers, competitive pricing, and amazing customer service

Sound is subjective, so I'll leave that for each individual to test. However, I don't like the features. Volume automatically resets to a low default volume whenever coming back on from standby. The phono input from my Rega Planar 2 automatically turns off after about 15 minutes. Klipsch showed me how to switch to installer mode which disables the automatic standby but then also disables the auto-on feature. Not happy with set-up.

Great Value but Features Not Ideal.

Pros:  Easy to set up.  
Good finish and impressive looking
Easy to use remote and BT paring
Automatically turned on with Optical connection when TV was turned on like a trigger

Cons: 
Sometimes disconnects from optical to bluetooth for no reason mid-show.  Need to turn off bluetooth on phone or computer to stop it from happening. 

Technology-wise, these are a great set of speakers for how Klipsch designed them.  Unfortunately, I have a set of speakers I built (as a pre-made kit from Madisound) using Seas drivers for around the same price and they are substantially better in sound quality.  It's not even close.  I've had a few 'non-audiophile' types over and asked them for their opinion, and they all strongly favor they smaller bookshelf homemade speakers.  It's not even close.  

So if you don't want to purchase an amp, receiver, etc, these are a good solid option.  However, the sound quality wasn't what I was hoping for and I'll be returning them.

Technology forward, sonically backward

Would it replace my complete audio setup?  Of course not.
But for under a grand (well under if you grab them when they're on promo) you have a very good quality record player setup, and wireless speaker setup.  This is basically my bedroom setup.

A no brainer as a second setup

These things sound fantastic. They can convey the subtleties of acoustic jazz and the high-pressure fire hose-intensity of hard rock; love ‘em.

Two speakers, a cell phone, a streaming music app = incredible music. Great sound.  Nothing else needed.  Who would've ever thought?  My music rack with thousands of dollars of equipment is gathering dust.

First purchase I've made from Adorama and it went over without a hitch.  I am not enjoying my Klipsch R-26PF speakers, which are amazing, absolutely amazing sounding and top quality loud speakers.  Very rich in sound, full featured and Bluetooth enabled.  You really should be asking my neighbors what they think, just kidding - they can't hear very well anymore anyway.  ;)  Thanks for a wonderful product and exceptional service.

Speakers are nice.  The sound is nice.  The Bluetooth function sometimes gives me trouble.  However I bought them at a really great price.

plenty bang for buck with clarity

Have wanted a pair of Klipsch since I was a boy.  The technology has changed, but the quality hasn't.  Beautiful, rich sound from a pair of speakers that has all the latest bells and whistles...bluetooth connectivity, pc input, direct turntable input. 
 And pairs beautifully with my subwoofer for earth shattering base.  Love it!

Nice Bass!

Nice sounding speakers.  They even have good bass. I wish they had an app for the remote and were WiFi capable.  But they are well worth the 500.00 price tag.  Very clear and loud!!!
