Unlike my RP-280FA's which arrived with very worn and gouged packaging this speaker was very solidly packed with no damage. I am still evaluating the sound but so far is how I expect.

If you're looking for a center channel for a Klipsch reference premier theater system, look no further! I started my journey with a 5.2.2 Klipsch reference system and have recently upgraded my surround speakers to RP 500m bookshelves and have now upgraded the center channel to this RP 404c. I am ecstatic! So much more clarity and more punch. All that it left is a pair of RP 8060 towers......to be continued.

Love the speaker. The price point is a bit higher but I think it?s worth the money, as long as you are particular about the quality of the sound. I have used Kenwood, Pioneer, and JBL for the home theater systems before and I feel that this is a superior product. Highly recommended.

Great speaker for the price. I purchased a used one for less than 200 dollars and was in perfect condition and even came in the original box. Overall great sound, and great price definitely recommend.

Didn?t have room for larger options and was concerned due to all reviews saying how much better the bigger centers are. I?m sure bigger is better here and can?t compare, but very happy with the RP-404C for the space I have.

Spectacular sound! Have two of these for two home theatres. One on a 5.1 and the other a 7.2 set up. All around best quality I have heard to my liking between other brands like d tec.. I recommend these to everyone who asks about my sound systems.

Paired up with my KEF Q350 and SVS SB2000 Pro. My setup was pretty descent without the center channel but the addition of PR 404C really brings it to a new level. Movie dialogues are much for clear and with Yamaha TS-700's surround sound even Spotify sounds tracks are much better!

These are my favorites speakers I own, and have ever owned. I am a retired A/V guy and have listened to, and owned 100?s of speakers over the years and I can honestly say these are some of the best I have listened to regardless of price. I own a pair of B&W 803?s which are truly special, but at $10,000 for the pair, it?s remarkable how close these Klipsch 8000f?s are in comparison at a fraction of the price. They really need some quality amplification to do them justice, not necessarily mega watts but clean power and they just lay down the music that will put a smile on your face. I own many Klipsch speakers, including a pair of Fortes (which are ridiculously good and again, at a fraction of the cost, the 8000?s get you 95% there. If you?re looking for an amazing pair of speakers at an awesome price point, I think these are the ones.

I had a pair of Wharfedale 11.4 front speakers but got talked in to the RP-8000F which are 2 way speakers, the wharfedales were 3 way. OMG, when the Klipsch Speakers were in place and I ran a couple of SACD's thru' them, and a few Bluray movies, 5.1 etc, I felt the floor shaking and this is being run through my Pioneer VSX-934 Receiver and my Pioneer UDP-LX 500 Multidisc Player. I absolutely love these and rate them massively. I do actually run a Klipsch Sub, but they don't really need it but I already had it so all good. Buy these! They will annoy your neighbours.

Paired up with a very high end 45 Watt per channel tube amplifier with stunning results. Very happy with them. They took at least 300 hours of break in to really wow me. Although I was more than happy with them out of the box, now they sound absolutely gorgeous.

Finally got the pair to finish the set. These floor speakers are the pinnacle of any home theater system. When paired with the Reference Premier line speakers these eclipse what most have experienced in their local theaters. Its enough to say any home theater enthusiasts will enjoy having these in their setup. The sound quality and bass from these speakers bring the most out of any media you play. From music, games, and of course movies the sound and impact of these speakers are pure emersion. Anyone without a unlimited budget will hesitate to place a purchase for the pair, but in the long run having these arrive will put any doubt to rest. Placing them in their spot in the entertainment room and connecting them to the theater system will have you grinning with excitement.

I've had these about a month for home theater and also got the marantz sr 6015 which is a 9.2 channel av receiver along with 4 sa500 Dolby Atmos, a pair of rp502 surround and the rp404 center channel and the spl-150 subwoofer. Now I wouldn't say that they're perfect but they're pretty darn close. I'm really enjoying movies all over again.

Typical Klipsch quality. Sounds great. These RP speakers are big so measure to make sure you have the room. Pull the speaker a bit off of the wall to allow for air movement and it will sound best.

I purchased these speakers to pair with a low wattage tube integrated amp I received as a Christmas gift. They sound fantastic and work well with the power of the amp. I would have rated 5 stars, but one speaker seems to play louder than the other. I have run some tests switching tubes and swapping left and right speakers, but have more testing to do and if I find I am mistaken, I will up my rating.

These speakers are amazing. I upgraded them from the R-51M and was a little worried that with my entry level AVR driving 2 woofers it would have been hard on it and at normal listening volumes was I wrong. This speaker definitely packs a punch with clear crisp audio. Out of curiosity I was running this speaker as stereo and it sounds amazing, however having 2x 8" woofers is definitely not a reason to not have a sub woofer, I feel this speaker with my setup excels at high and mid range frequencies the most. I was also a little hesitant with this purchase being that this is a 2way speaker and not a 3 way speaker. I was blown away at how clear this speakers mids are and how smoothly it rolls off to my sub woofer. These speakers definitely have me looking at nicer AVR's with pre-outs so I can have dedicated amps to these speakers. I currently have them in a Bi-wire configuration and am looking forward to being able to Passively Bi-Amp these speakers as I am sure they will impress me even more once I do that. Bi-wiring these speakers made the mids a little more crisp and clearer. These speakers all in all are one of the best investments I have made for my setup.

I purchased these speakers about a year ago, and I?m so glad I did. Before I pulled the trigger, I was thinking that I would probably need a sub. No way. The low end is just perfect with these speakers. The highs and the mids are great as well. The highs are not harsh in any way, and the mids and lows are very warm. One thing I have noticed is that acoustic guitars, horns, and vocals sound phenomenal. If you have any doubts about the 8000?s, get them.

I have these masterpieces for 6 months and they are great everything better trough the time, clear great 45htz bottom and a really great clear top, so dynamic and wide soundstage, so great to blend with Marantz pre amp and a class D amplifier

Just finished setting up my first Klipsch 5.1 home theater last night. Two RP-8000s, RP-504c, two RP-402s, and an RP-120sw, powered by a Yamaha A2A. I watched the first Jurassic Park, and let me tell you, it felt like I was going down the T-Rex?s throat during the paddock breakout scene. Holy cow. I?m blown away by this setup.
