Speakers are great as front speakers in my AV system. Very well packaged and delivered on time. Kind of. One speaker arrived on time but the second arrived later. Wish I knew they had different tracking numbers. Thought the second was either not shipped or lost.

These speakers are awesome. I also have an old pair of Klipsch Icon KF-28'S that still sound great. I wanted to upgrade a little bit and these sure did the trick!

Coming from bookshelf 2.1 and adding these with a center channel to create a 5.1 system has been nothing less than impressive. These speakers are able to carry impressive lows and absolutely fill the room with a full range of sound. These speakers are legit.

It had more bass that I had to switch my yamaha bass off. In general, it was a good speaker. But compared to last 10 years, the speakers quality was not spectacular dued to materials and labors raise up. For me the speaker was good with its price tag. To be more spectacular buyers should look on RP (Reference Premier) speakers.

The 820 towers keep up well as surround speakers to my rp8000f mains and rp-504c center speaker. Works very well in movies but really shine in listening to multi channel music. I am very happy with my choice.

Am the Owner of a few range of Klipsch Floorstanding Speakers, however, the R and RP series with 8" woofers blow my mind. Very much impress with the quality and refine sounds produced.I have 2 audio systems, one for just music and second for THX sound for movies/tv. My music system is all Klipsch...next to upgrade the THX movie/tv speakers.The music audio for me with Klipsch Floorstanding Speakers is the Best..Classic Rock/Reggae/Blues/Salsa/Jazz...

This is not my first large dual woofer Klipsch. These have the typical frequency response as the other Klipsch: a forward bass and a dip at the crossover (1 to 2k hz). That said, they are on the bass heavy side, weak midrange, and dark. Many will like them as is. As for myself, an audiophile, I flattened the bass and the midrange dip by plugging the bass ports and eq'ing a + 1.5 db bump at 1k and 2k hz. Now a true audiophile speaker. Very happy.

Love the sound quality of these speakers! Next need to finish off getting a few more speakers to finish off my atmos system. Klipsch has been the speaker system I've been slowly building too. Now need center channel and rears with atmos speakers and I'll be complete. These two are already incredible clarity and sound by themselves. Can't wait to finish up the rest the system!!!

The sound is incredible! Honestly was not expecting these speakers to be this amazing! The clarity of the mids and tweeters are great and the BASS! Seriously did not expect this much bass. Awesome awesome speakers so super happy with them! Paired with my 15" Cerwin Vegas, and Klipsch 15" subwoofer..... I now have my dream setup. I'm powering the Klipsch towers with a Crown xls 1000 pushing 215 watts per channel at 8 ohms, and my Cerwin Vegas with a Crown xls 2002 pushing 650 watts per channel at 4 ohms. My stereo system is insane!!! Thank you.

I've had many brands of speakers over the last 60 yrs, I still have 9 Klipsch speakers, that I could use, but wanted to try something new. I'm amazed at the sound of music note separation and clarity. I'm using these in my mind cave , and I played Pino Floyd Comfortably Numb Awesome

They sound great comparable to JBL A190 speakers that I'm using for front speakers they are pretty close to same size when I first hooked them up the highs weren't sounding as good i guess from being new maybe had to warm up but sound good after a few minutes of playing

Better than I expected. These replaced Mach 1 speakers I had and always loved. Decided after 40 years and much research to give these a try. The sensitivity was first noticed and the separation and overall response was amazing. The highs are crisp but not overwhelming. The bass comes in tight and not booming. A very easy to listen to sound that is clear and enjoyable. Back in the 70s, a friend invited me over to hear his new Klipsch speakers. It was truly amazing and I had always wanted to get some when I could afford them. Wish I had not waited this long. Great job Klipsch!

I recently purchased these from Klipsch direct. They arrived double boxed. I found them to sound best about 8 ft apart with a toe in to about 6" outside the ears. I didn't care for the OEM plastic feet. I replaced them with steel bolts and nuts. A noticeable improvement for sure -- harder and tighter. I have carpet, fabric furniture, and I like the grilles on. A +2 in the treble is great. I would purchase them again. Thank you!

Great sound, I just got these R820F at a great price, I've had the B20 bookshelf speakers for about 6 years now and decided to upgrade the front speakers for a better stereo effect and move the B20 to the side for a 7.2 surround sound effect' so far I'm impressed'

I was excited enough to buy a pair for myself & my son bcz of the Klipsch reputation, as well as the price point... ... unfortunately, these speakers do not help the Klipsch legacy as they are so bass heavy that the live recordings I play need t have the bass dropped out so much that bass player's contributions are not there - not good for either Phil Lesh or John Entwhistle afficionados...

I actually had a pair of la scala's back in the eighties in an apartment. 15" woofer, large mid range horn and and large horn tweeter, super efficient. I recently picked up a pair of R-820F speakers, once again impressed. Great sound.
