Mine stoped working. The subwoofer still works but the bar is died out of nowhere. Loved the sound when it worked. Just a bit sad

Utter garbage. I bought mine 3 years ago and it died at around the 2 year mark. It looks like these soundbars have a power supply issue and ican't believe Klipsch is still selling soundbars with the exact same problem after all these years! To top it all off, it appears Klipsch will do nothing about it for existing customers or even adress the problem in their newer products! It sounded great while it worked. Now all I have is a $900 paperweight. I can't even match my wireless surround speakers I bought with it because the new models have the same problem! I have alkways loved Klipsch product for their phenominal sound but this is an enormous disappointment. Never again!

Despite the many bad reviews of this sound bar I ordered it. At about the two month mark started having issues with the subwoofer connecting. Every once in awhile I would have to power cycle the sub to regain connectivity. I ordered this soundbar because you can add an additional subwoofer. I also purchased the wireless Bluetooth 12" klipsch sub (R-12SWi). So total I'm running bar 48 with included sub and its function was spotty from about the two month mark. Two years later the included sub no longer works at all. I've done multiple tech tests with the direction of the klipsch customer service agent. He has determined the included sub is now dead. The additional subwoofer I purchased and connected to the additional subwoofer outputs in the bar 48 also now is not working. It connects and disconnects on its own. So while watching a typical movie it will connect and disconnect multiple times throughout the movie. Or it won't connect at all. The R-12SWi also had more bad reviews than I would have liked to see, however , I ordered anyway. So after two years I now have a bar 48 with no working sub and klipsch had told me I can have 10% off on future purchases. I've also ordered three other wired 12 and 10 inch subs. I've also ordered the Bluetooth portable speaker , I've also orders a set of bookshelf speakers. And I have an older set of klipsh full range tower type speakers. Sad to be a life long klipsch speaker supporter and to find our the very expensive new product has no expectation to last even two short years. There is no support. After months of back and forth with email and me testing my speakers on other systems and running different connections and trials - I'm told there is nothing they will do for me other than a discount to buy more product that won't last. Sorry to say - it's time to try a different brand.

Incredibly disappointed by Klipsch and this product. Purchased originally on December 23, 2019. Had no major issues besides having to constantly disconnect and reconnect power when it wouldn't turn on and when the HDMI connection would not produce audio from the ARC connection. July of 2024 the bar started to show issues not displaying lights on the top showing input, dolby status, surround indicator etc. then the lights on the front showing volume would flicker to completely off shortly after startup. Finally the soundbar produced bad outputs creating static and crackling noises. Support was completely unhelpful stating that there were no fixes or repair options besides trying to factory reset which didn't work. This is unacceptable for the cost of the system having purchased the soundbar and accompanying surround speakers which had a plethora of problems of their own. Having no support for a product that is only four years old is ridiculous for a company with the brand recognition of Klipsch. It is a shame to discontinue products for a new identical line like the Cinema series and then discontinue that shortly after making it seem that both lines of soundbars had known issues that they will not address. In the end I was offered a discount to spend more money with Klipsch on products that will not last. Needless to say I will not be spending more money with the brand.

I've had this for 2 years and I've applied the firmware update. It sounds ok, but I have to hard power cycle it every week or so with the HDMI arc connection and Samsung TV. Otherwise, it just stays on and the volume from the TV can't control it. It's not recognized as a connected device again until a hard power cycle.

Don't fall for it. I used it under ten times and the subwoofer went out. Getting a hold of a live technician is impossible. I have been on hold multiple times for an hour only for a recording to come on and tell me that an agent is not available. Bad product and bad service. I'm going back to Sony.

Very disappointed with this sound bar. Sound is weak, no depth. Replaced a Bose speaker that I thought was just okay. Bose was far superior. I have many Klipsh speakers including Herasy's from the 70's and Klipshhorns from the 80's. And new bookshelf and portables. Always impressed. Not this. Figures why it was 60% off. Mr. Klipsh would not put his name on this. One upside. Bluetooth connections to sub and surround spkrs was flawless, quick. Going back to Bose.

I am more than satisfied with this setup. All the hardware was included in the package, and it was plug-and-play after hooking it up. I used the HDMI jack and included the cord, which worked immediately. The Bar looks great. The taller subwoofer has a solid, deep bass. Ideal for the bedroom. I used this in a professional office space.

This sounds great. My only criticism is that they didn't include an audio cable. Hookup took me about 36 hours because Klipsch saved 99 cents by not furnishing the cable. Thanks for the HDMI cable though, I may be able to use it one day.

I have experienced a lot of interference and connection issues, unfortunately. When it's connected, it's great, but I'm trouble shooting every few days to get things reconnected.

Growing up klipsch meant class, quality, clarity, harmony, beauty, and function. How sad is it that now I'm excited to be pillaging this speaker system to run off a $50 class D amp and *fully* expect better performance? During the first 3 months with this system we experienced nonstop headaches: bluetooth often wouldn't connect without unpair/re-pair, both remote and speaker controls were about responsive as a white house press secretary after an island fire, volume would randomly suddenly just cut out, system would refuse to power on/off, excessive audio lag no matter the input source. The closest to anything nice i can say about this is that the cabinets are sturdy and well built. Sound quality was better than tv speakers when it worked but considering all the various inconsistencies in performance i can neither praise or nor rule that out as an anomaly.

it works pretty good overall but the bar automatically turns off sometime while being used or the remote doesnt work some of the time, can be quite frustrating at times to work with. other than that its a good product. would i recommend this product to someone i would be hesitant to do so

easy set up. had the unit working in a 10 minutes or so. The sub woofer works seamlessly with the soundbar. tested the unit with the movie Saving Private Ryan and was blown away

Initially, setup was very frustrating and not a lot of info to assist with setup was provided. The remote literally controls different things with our Firestick, which is really annoying, but we just use our TV remote to control everything anyway. Although, with the TV remote, volume increments seem to be limited, with the sound either slightly too low or slightly too loud. Other than that, great sound and quality come from this soundbar and subwoofer.

The sound bar is a nice addition to the living room. Sound fills the room well with full rich tones. The sub woofer is needed to give the sound a full dimension. I have other older Klipsch sound bars that require a transformer. The Bar 48 is a direct plug into the wall making a cleaner installation. This sound bar is well suited for small to medium rooms.
