I use these as rear surrounds on a 7.2 system and they reveal ambient and effects noises perfectly. I have them wall mounted.

I upgraded my receiver which allowed connections for two height speakers. Enter the RP-500SA II which I bought in walnut finish. Very nice looking speakers and the new tweeter design was another factor. Very happy with my purchase .. adds a new dimension to my sound system and sounds great ! Highly recommended.
