This innovative 8x8 matrix switcher is equipped with 8 HDMI inputs and 8 HDBaseT outputs, along with 4 HDMI mirrored outputs, making it an ideal choice for large-scale installations requiring multiple displays connected to a single source.

For superior audio capabilities, the switcher includes 8 auxiliary audio inputs for stereo and 8 stereo outputs for HDMI audio de-embedding. It also features 8 IR inputs, providing a comprehensive solution for audio and video signal distribution.

The KanexPro Matrix Switcher is designed with an Ethernet port for control via a web-based GUI, simplifying installation and setup while offering full control over the matrix. It supports ultra-fast 8x8 switching with instant display and can distribute eight HDBaseT outputs up to 70m at 1080p and 40m at 4KX2K on a single CAT5e/6 cable.

This switcher is also equipped with Power over Ethernet (PoE) capabilities, providing power to all eight receivers and eliminating the need for additional power outlets. This makes it a convenient and cost-effective solution for installations where power outlets are limited.

The switcher supports deep color up to 16 bit, RGB/YCbCr 4:4:4, YCbCr: 4:2:2, and 4K/30Hz, ensuring high-quality video output. It also features illuminated buttons with a front panel LCD, dedicated audio zones for digital and stereo audio, and advanced EDID & HDCP management.

The KanexPro Matrix Switcher is controllable via the front panel, RS232, IR, and IP, and includes an IR remote control for added convenience. It also offers easy firmware upgrades through a Micro-USB port and features locking HDMI connectors for secure connections. The switcher is housed in a 2 RU rack-mountable steel enclosure and comes with an external international power supply (100V-240V AC, 50/60Hz).

The HDMI inputs from the matrix can be controlled via various methods, delivering the selected source to HDMI and HDBaseT outputs simultaneously. This unit provides built-in EDID and HDCP management, making it an ideal choice for applications such as multi-zone home theaters, houses of worship, or commercial AV distribution where sending uncompressed 4K ultra HD signals are critical.

Please note that the HDBASE70POER receivers are not included with this matrix switcher. To reduce video dropout problems from lighting, ceiling fans, and other EMI issues, it is strongly recommended to use shielded CAT5e/CAT6 and shielded RJ45 connectors with this HDBaseT product.
