I had an teufel 5.2 ser theater 4 with integrated subwoofers in de front speakers. They both had an amplifier of 175 watt max. This klipsch beast has an amplifier of 360 watt RMS. Because of the front fire purpose way better to hear and goes way deeper. Im in love with this sub together with rp-250 2x, r-51m surround and the 440 center its actually kinda heavy because i live in an appartment bulding. But you can ofcourse adjust every setting in the receiver (denon 2700h). It sounds really nice and im glad i took the klipsch in stead of the teufels. The copper has such a nicer look but the sound, depth and clearness with voices is amazing! I would recommend this to everyone havind this budget!!!

This is my second Klipsch subwoofer. My first is an R-80SWi that came with my Reference 5.1 surround system. I have both running in a 5.2.2(2 subs not 2 pre-outs) system. They sound amazing. The R-110SW hits all the low frequencies effortlessly. Not only does it look great, it performs great. My R-820F's were just delivered today and can't wait to pair them with this sub.

The auto power mode times out and then won't wake up until I manually flip the switch. What's the point of that? And if I just leave it on, there is a constant rumbly hum. Otherwise, it sounds great.
