Keepers of The BASS
I bought this 3 months ago, it's accompanied by another Klipsch sub, working in tandem, they rock my bed, it's a very moving experience. I can feel my heart beating out of my chest. The best, lowest BASS I've ever experienced. I'm going to get 3 more for my living room now. "MUST HAVE IF YOU ENJOY MOVIES, MUSIC, ETC" KEEPERS OF THE SOUND. KLIPSCH ROCKS!!!!!!

Klipsch Reference R112 SW - Pleasure for the eyes and ears ????
Very good customer service ( answering my questions and prompt delivery of my Klipsch Reference R112 SW subwoofer , Cherry color ). Very good price and being an authorized dealer of Klipsch I have the full 5 year/ 2 year warranty on my subwoofer . Sounds very good and not a scratch on it !! ??????Definitely would recommend this item !!!!

More boom for your buck
I got this primarily for movies to provide a little more rumble and go deeper than my old 10" Martin Logan sub. It may not be a $1k+ SVS sub but for my needs at the sale price I paid, I am quite happy with it.

Great upgrade, but costing me for other new components to match... ;-)
I am very impressed with this sub. It really makes a MUCH bigger difference than I expected. I had been wanting to upgrade for a long time, so when I saw the unbelievably low price for this, I had to buy it, and I am so glad I did. Except, now I am upgrading my receiver and debating a new set of speakers to go with it.

Not Delighted So Far
I bought this sub-woofer to fill in the lows below my very capable floor-standing speakers in a stereo system. So far, the results I'm getting aren't up to what I'd hoped for. The bass is sometimes somewhat boomy, and lacks the precision of the smaller sub in my 5.1 setup. For example, the initial kick of the kick drum seems more diffused. Upright bass is sometimes muddy. I've improved things a lot as I've dialed in the crossover and gain, but results still aren't great. I have yet to experiment much with placement, and there are certainly some resonances in my room, but when setting up with test tones there is chuffing at the low end and I'm not listening at high volume. I'm thinking it may be a limitation of the subwoofer itself.
I would characterize the "cherry" finish as running towards the darker end of spectrum. It doesn't come as close to matching the other speakers as I'd hoped. Still, at the sale price I paid, I don't feel bad about this purchase and I added a star for that. I would still recommend the product with some caveats. It may be a better choice for low-frequency effects in a theater setup rather than careful music listening.
I haven't tried other 12-inch subs.

Great Sub
Great bass that isn't to overpowering. I only really use it for movies and it feels like I'm in the cinema. I wish the wife would let me get another but glad I was able to get this one haha.

A great subwoofer
I put it in a mid-size living room, and it fills the room nicely with bass It seems very solid and well built, and it is very heavy. I really like the rubber base. The front facing port seems to work well, and I can't hear any port noise.

Pretty good sub I guess. I’m no audiophile so what do I know? Shakes the walls if you want it to, I keep it turned down to provide just a little low end, nothing crazy.

Bring on the BOOM
OK, so I upgraded from a 50w Polk Audio subwoofer to this monster, and holy cow, what a difference. It takes some fiddling with the crossover and volume to find the right levels, but when you do, oh man, this will add thunder to your movies in a big way.

Great Sub!
Great sub! Sounds a little different than the R-120SW as this sub has the horizontal port on the front by the woofer as opposed to a round port on back. They compliment each other very well in X.2 setup.

I love me some Klipsch
I have always been a Klipsch fan but never had a sub. I finally replaced my 12" JBL, and the difference is remarkable. Highly recommended, especially for the $300 special price I payed!

This is an excellent subwoofer for medium budget... does a good job of reproducing accurate bass, and gives adjustments. works with several amps / recr's. Definitely a worthy buy.

Adorama and Klipsch Rock...literally#!
First, I'll speak to ordering and shipping from Adorama. Outstanding. Placed my order online and got an immediate confirmation. Received the UPS tracking number less than 24 hours after that. Ordered on a Saturday PM. On my doorstep in perfect condition on Wednesday AM.
I set it up my system using my Pioneer receivers MCACC Advanced set up program. It dialed in my front soundstage and rears perfectly. It also dialed in my new Klipsch subwoofer...but I mostly use my system for movies so I jacked the level a click or 2 on the Klipsch. I put the Blu-Ray of Heat in and ....Wow. You can't go wrong with Adorama and you can't go wrong with this Klipsch sub!!

Absolutely an outstanding sub for the money.
The Cherry finish is a perfect fit. and the sound is fantastic. I had a 15 year old Atlantic Technologies THX powered 15" sub, absolutely loved it. The amp burned up. replaced with the Klipsch, equally as good as sound.
