Klipsch RP-280FA (Really powerful, friggin? awesome)

When it comes to the leader of audio + video, I turn to Adorama. The Klipsch name sells itself, but the prices (this day and age) shipping, and customer service, you cannot buy from anyone but Adorama. These speakers just exceed all expectations. Not only loud, amazing sound, but beautifully designed and crafted.

An extraordinary speaker.

Simply put, these speakers are extraordinary. They are easily competitive with speakers costing ten times as much! I have such high priced speakers in another room ,so my assessment is based on an actual comparison. They are very attractive aesthetically, are of reasonable size, and use amplifier power very efficiently. Playing orchestral music validates my impressions, but film scores, with their high transients really allow the speaker to show how it excels. Paired with a compatible Klipsch center channel speaker and surrounds, and finally a subwoofer, one can easily achieve sound quality comparable to a fine theatre. The receiver I?ve used is a Denon AVR3700H configured in the 7.1 channel bi-amp mode. You will not be disappointed.

Great sound

This set of fronts are solid for a surround set up. My ceilings are flat and 8? so it?s perfect for the atmos speakers to fire off since I do not really have options for ceiling speakers.

Excelent Speaker

I connected the pair with receiver 7.2 Denon 250w or Adcom power that give a amaing sound. When I connect 280FA with Denon and Martin Logan speakers to Adcom pre and power amp, SW From MK and Large Klipsch center that give theater sound, that very clear trebles and basses.

Extremely impressed

Blown away (literally) by the power of these towers. They are heavy as h--l but worth the struggle to set up. Initially worried about not having surround/side speakers, but in a 15x20 room I never use these above 70%. Currently running 3.1.2 system with these and am beyond impressed. Not sure how Klipsch subs or other hardware measures up but they didn't overlook anything on these.

The ATMOS are very nice,

I have the 260 which I use for the back for 7.1 which I was using for them for the main fronts and using the 280FA is a big difference. Their louder and more balanced. The ATMOS are very nice, you get sounds coming from the top because they fire upwards to the ceiling. It makes it more of theater like experience. The bass is unreal that sometimes I turn off my klipsch subwoofer. Totally worth the upgrade. And they were shipped on time and I got the best deal here.
