The speakers sound great. As far as the listening experience goes, it's an excellent system. It took two Black Fridays, but I now have the complete 5.1 system. I started with the bookshelf speakers last year and bought the pair of 440s for $ on a Black Friday deal this year. They came with the control hub, so it was an excellent deal. I picked up the center channel and sub elsewhere. The speakers are great and set up is relatively easy. So, for $ the deal is a winner. I'd give it five stars if it weren't for a few things with the overall system. My only negative is with the control hub -- which is the only way to control the speakers. There's no way to adjust the equalization. You'll hear the "raw" input Klipsch wants you to hear and that's it. For the price these originally sold for, that's a major negative. In my case, with a 5.1 setup, there's no way to adjust the surround presets other than to adjust individual speaker volume. My AV receiver has a half dozen environments (concert hall, jazz club, etc.) and I enjoy them. Unfortunately, I can't with these speakers. Those effects are only sent to the wired speakers, so even using the HDMI passthrough, I can't get them to the control hub. I'm a longtime Klipsch owner and I love their trademark Klipsch horn sound -- AFTER I tweak the EQ slightly. That's not possible with this system. The visual interface for the control hub (you HAVE to output to a screen) is also substandard. Looks like something out of a mid-70s Pong game. Finally, the remote is very light weight and feels cheap. Navigating the menus is pretty tedious as you have to use the up/down to go through each page. They could have done so much better for the price. Still, a great listening experience. I only wish they paid a little more attention to the details and it would have been near perfect.

I was not that impressed with this system. It was sold as a system you could upgrade forever. Once I got it I decided that it needed a bass speaker. I found out that only one bass speaker was made that will hook to the system and that the entire system had been discontinued. So it will never be upgradable. In addition the two speakers I did get sounded nothing alike. One was significantly muffled and required a huge adjustment just to get it to sound ok next to the other one. The highlight is that it is very easy to set up and communicated well with my other components. I like the idea but the speakers I received did not do it well.

I was extremely excited for these speakers and their wireless capabilities, but was let down by their short comings. I kept getting drops and inconsistent connections which made the built in speakers in my TV a better experience. I looked online and found people had good success with them after they updated the firmware to the latest version. I did that on the wireless receiver and speakers and it just made everything even worse. Huge let down, felt like a product in early stages of development. I got two wireless receivers two tower speakers and two bookshelf speakers. I had a bad experience with everything I'm not sure how they wanted that receiver to power a 7.2 sound system if each receiver was having problems keeping two speakers connected. Luckily I got these on sale instead of paying full price for them like I once considered, but I ended up returning them and getting my money back. I do have a smart home maybe that was the issue.

Reviews are completely off. Let me start by stating that I got it on sale for 750 a pair with the central music distributor included. Even at that price it is terrible. The wifi disconnects and there is cracking from both speakers even at low volume. No bass at all.

I checked online for weeks looking for these speakers. It didn’t help that they were discontinued. But lucky for me I finally found them here, and at an exceptional price. From placing the order to arrival it was only a week, which was great. And did I mention they sound awesome!! I am over the moon and would definitely purchase from here again!!

I used smaller speakers for a very long time and always wanted a floor standing speakers. The bass is also strong enough as long as I don't want to hear at even lower frequencies. Will be looking to finish the set while waiting for sales for the rest of the pieces! The UI that is used for setting up looks like it could use a face lift.

Great speakers, sound quality is fantastic but there is issue with the wireless system even with the newest firmware 1.8.0 RC2 release. The wireless is connected but for some reason sound delivery is sporadic in and out, sometimes the system just works and we got audio however - most of the time, it won't. The fix is to go to the control panel and search for the speakers again so it can re-discover the speakers (take too long) or quicker if just go to the sound adjustment and fake adjusting the db level and then we got audio. Note: Reset the system does not help. There are time when I tempt to return the whole thing and get something else. However with several weeks of trial and error, I have finally found the fix that will work every time. It could potentially a bug.Turn the wireless system on first, wait for about 30 seconds, then turn on TV and voila - you have sound. If you have the TV on first and then the turn on the hub, 9 out of 10 times, there is no audio.

I got this setup for my home theater and I even dj with it at a Christmas party, it was a easy setup with a laptop and dj sw and it was a blast. Sounds great and I love it. I see a few folks complaining about the setup and sync problems, I never faced any of these issues.

First of all the sound is awesome for home theater surround sound. My other system at my Winter home has Onk**o and comparable sized P*lk speakers and me and my family thought that was great sound. When we bough a home in Florida that had vaulted ceiling and concrete floors my wife said no surround sound because of the wires and insisted on a soundbar. when I saw this system I had to try it. So far after 3 months i have had the center channel looses signal once during previews of a netflix bluray. restarted the movie and it was fixed. I have a wireless bridge 5 feet from the hub for my ring doorbell and that does not interfere as other has had, I also have 7 wireless security cameras, on 2.4 and 5ghz and no problems. I have the latest firmware so that may be why I do not have any problems. The sound is rich and full. the bass is perfect. it pounds at the right point but is not overwhelming when it should not be. The center channel transmits the dialogue very clearly, I do have it set for enhanced dialogue. but only because we have 3 dogs that make alot of noise. The system is so balanced it is hard to tell where sound is coming from at times, you actually have to get up and walk over to the speaker to tell. but that means it is balanced to the room. and that is the key to good sound taking the time to set it up, the amps that drive each speaker have plenty of power and are as clean as my Onky* I would recommend this to anyone who wants a system without a amp or without wires or just wants good sound easy. Oh they look really nice too. I was shipped a UK power cord in one of the boxes. Customer service was awesome in getting me a US power cord as I had to borrow one from another appliance to hook it up.

This is a great system and I am very pleased with the purchase. I see that others have mentioned issues with speaker connectivity however I haven't had a single issue with the system since I set it up. Props to Klipsch for making a simple wireless system that works and sounds great.

I spotted this system by chance, and it indeed looked promising. No mess with wires, and at that moment price was about same I'd pay for wired system. But it failed miserably. Setup wasn't straightforward, I had to do it many times. User interface is very very laggy, and remote control could be better. And the worst part is that control center consistently dropped connection with sub and one of the speakers. Even without those speakers, I felt that once in a while system readjusts quality settings with some clicking. I tried to do everything I could imagine to make it work. Updated firmware and turned off 5GHz band on my WIFI router, it didn't help. Besides that there is not much you can do. Read troubleshooting guide on Klipsch website: https://community.klipsch.com/index.php?/topic/167772-new-reference-premeire-hd-wireless-troubleshooting/ https://community.klipsch.com/index.php?/topic/173643-hd-wireless-loosing-connection-between-speakers-and-hd-wireless-control-center/ Looks like Klipsch is going to abandon wireless. Beside that system did sound great, and I'd probably keep it if it had and option to connect to external receiver.

A very good, easy to install, excellent sounding system that has severe limits. This a closed system does not allow other pieces to be added.

Have had this for almost a month now and use this system everyday. Never had an issue with connectivity or quality. The sound is the premium you expect from Klipsch and connecting the speakers took about 12 minutes (5.1 system) and I’m jot even close to being a pro sound guy. It’s as simple as pairing your phone to a Bluetooth speaker. Don’t blame the system if you can’t operate it.

After a month of use, I am completely satisfied with the sound quality. Some people complained about speakers dropping or loosing connection, however I never experienced it in my 1 month of regular use. When I setup my system, I also upgraded the firmware. I noticed that even though the hub had the latest firmware, speakers didn't. So after the upgrade, every component has the latest firmware. I am giving a 4 star, as firmware upgrade should be automatic. The last firmware upgrade was release over a year ago. Klipsch should release new features and bug fixes more frequently.

I got an excellent price for the Klipsch speaker set with the HD control center. Shipping was fast and they provided the tracking details promptly. Ordering over phone was super easy as well. Review for the Klipsch 5.1. system - These are great speakers. Truly wireless system that does not depend on your home wifi network. The speakers are big. The subwoofer is a large box. The center channel was much bigger than it looks in the picture. I guess for great sound you need the speakers to be a little big. The HD control center is great. It distributes the sound for a great 5.1 surround sound effect. From my experience, for best results, you will need to place the speakers in the right positions to get the best effect. Also, the control center has 4 HDMI inputs, so all my video sources (cable, Roku, ChromeCast, Laptop) are going into the HD control center. From there you can select the video source. Only one cable from HD control center to your TV HDMI input.

Kit was delivered right on time. I gave a wrong address to begin with however Adorama support was awesome to consider that. Setting up is super simple. I have xbox one x connected to TV and wifi hub is connected from TV using optical wire. Sound is good I cant compare as this is my first home theater but boy I am pleased with awesome sound. Its super easy to connect with mobile too using wifi and no drop in quality was noticed.
