I've had 2 of these for a year now and I like them. I went this route as they were on sale instead of one big one to get more sound balance. I had issues with one of the subs pinging which Klipsch warranted. The two.of these together shake the house and cause all the decorations on the walls to rotate and vibrate. Awesome for movies and anything with low frequencies. Makes my 1.5 year old son smile and giggle when the couch shakes. I can only compare this to one other sub I have in my main room which is an older psb subseries 5i 10" woofer which excels better with music and fills the room and is louder with slightly higher frequencies however the Klipsch are way better with less port noise and handle the low frequencies in action movies way better.

I found the SPL-100 to be small but delivers what I need for music, and movies but, I might purchase another so that there is one for right & Left for a stronger bass.

Sub Woofer (SB). Replaced a JBL PB-10 that requires open heart surgery, shoddy assembly. Bought 2 SPL-100. Test sound dvd Doctor Strange. I started with A/V receiver set at +3dB and half volume of SB, far too intense. You could feel the shockwave. Final adjustment was -4.5dB on receiver and .4 on the SB. I?m impressed.

Great upgrade from the reference line. This can do what a 12 inch from lower end tiers can.

Bought this subwoofer as addition to my Klipsch RP-6000F and must say its a great combination and love the full sound. Only have 1 remark, can't stand in full sun, the wrapping film at the back will let go.

I have 4" Klipsch powered speakers for my desktop computer and they were quite lacking in the low end. This is a great addition, might be a little overkill but for 499 it was not a bad deal directly from Klipsch I do with I could have found here for 399 but would prefer direct buy just in case I was to get a faulty or knock off. Can't complain, performance is as expected given cost. This setup even rivals my bedroom sonos set which cost 2x as much. If you need the boom I recommend the SPL series of subs.

Have been using for a couple weeks. So far no issues and seems pretty balanced with the RP speaker line. Great for a small to medium room.

I currently have this sun set up as a 2.1 for my Tv. I am amazed at the amount of bass this little sun will produce, with extreme tightness, no muddy bass. Love it.

Love the base sound and power. However, I don't know if it matches or syncs with my Polk Audio 3000 RM speakers mid and high range.

This sub is nice the bass is sick and I only have it connect to my Klipsch sound bar as an extra sub I can just imagine if it were connected to a receiver. I would recommend this you might shake the walls and move the floor but that's what it's for. Second to none and I compared this to Bose.

I recently bought the Klipsch Fives powered bookshelf speakers and just added this Klipsch subwoofer. The Fives have variable digital loudness software built-in and it took a little doing to experiment and clearly understand how to best use the subwoofer with it. It was time well spent as I can now make full use of the many input options on The Fives (including Bluetooth and optical cable and adjust the subwoofer using only The Fives remote control.

After reviewing other feedback I purchased a SPL-100 to accompany a pair of R-51M bookshelf speakers. I have these bookshelf speakers in my shop and was missing that bottom end punch. The SPL-100 was easy to connect and I appreciate the variable gain and cross-over tuning to dial in the sound. No joke this sub can really add depth on the low end of the scale. I am extremely satisfied and only wished I had purchased it earlier. Only downside for me is my low end Sony 2-channel amp only has a line level out so I need to adjust the gain depending on the primary volume. This is limitation of the amp, not the sub and I just dial in the bass I want.

Fills out 50khz and below with ease. Super happy with the way they paired with my floor standing speakers.

I have paired this sub up with a set of R-51PM speakers. I am so impressed with this setup. My son is a Nashville musician and like me is very particular of mix and tone. He is also thrilled with it. Very impressed. The R-51PM's were great alone. Adding the sub brought the sound to a whole new level. Thank you Klipsch!!

Leveraging a 10" spun copper Cerametallic woofer and high-efficiency Class-D amplifier, the Klipsch SPL-100 subwoofer delivers best-in-class low-frequency output.
High Efficiency Class D Amplifier
The built-in, high efficiency amplifier features an analog preamp design, which maintains the original signal path for cleaner, true-to-source reproduction. The Class D output stage ensures maximum efficiency for maximum output, detail, and low frequency power.
Spun Copper Cerametallic Woofers
Cerametallic woofers are exceptionally light and extremely rigid, providing remarkable low frequency response with minimal cone breakup and distortion for higher, cleaner output using less amplifier power.
Woofer Anatomy
Klipsch Cerametallic cones are matted to a dual-layer, copper-wound voice coil for exceptional conductivity.
Reference Premiere woofers are housed in a non-resonating, stamped-steel basket that's secured to a large magnet motor for exceptional efficiency and low distortion, and matched to our horn-loaded tweeters for optimal acoustic execution.
Exclusive Port Technology
Klipsch SPL subwoofers leverage proprietary internal-flare geometry that minimizes port noise for clean undistorted low frequencies. The front-firing design allows for placement flexibility to reduce unwanted resonance from your walls or furniture behind the subwoofer.
Take Control
Low Pass Crossover and Variable Phase control allows you to tune the subwoofer to your Klipsch speakers and to your room, establishing the ideal level of bass. Line Level / LFE RCA inputs ensure compatibility with home theater receivers.
Both the RCA and wireless inputs can be utilized, giving you the ability to use a single subwoofer with multiple system in the same room. For example, you can use the wireless input for your home theater set up and the RCA input for your 2-channel system, without needing to switch inputs when changing between systems.
Ultra Durable Design
Klipsch SPL subwoofers feature a scratch resistant ebony finish that looks like real wood and covers the entire cabinet. Shock-absorbing rubber feet, steel grille posts and a woven cloth grille give the SPL subwoofers a premium look and feel.
