From the house of KanexPro, the WP-HDBTKVM3 is a US Decora style double-gang, 2x1 HDMI wall plate switcher, designed to seamlessly integrate into your audio-visual setup. This transmitter and receiver set is engineered to switch between two HDMI inputs and one USB 2.0 input, delivering high-quality video and audio to a remote display or projector.
With the capability to transmit up to 131ft.(40m) at 4K/60 and 330ft.(100m) at 1080p/60 video and audio over a single cat5e/6/7 cable, this wall plate switcher ensures optimal performance. The transmission outputs are conveniently provided via an HDBaseT port.
The WP-HDBTKVM3 wall plate transmitter offers easy control and switching of inputs. A simple press of the "Source /Auto" button on the front panel allows you to select your desired input. For automatic switching, hold the button for 3 seconds to activate the auto-detect feature for HDMI inputs.
This wall plate switcher also supports Consumer Electronics Control (CEC), enabling you to control the DISPLAY ON/OFF from the front panel button for the far-end display device. It can be programmed by IR learning or RS232 command, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of display devices.
The WP-HDBTKVM3 set includes a receiver with two USB 2.0 ports and KVM support. This receiver connects to the 4K display via Ethernet, offering multi-port USB 2.0 for use as a KVM or for Video Teleconferencing (VTC) applications.
The wall plate switcher is powered via Power over HDBaseT (PoH), a safe and regulated power solution that offers voltage protection when sent over Ethernet. This prevents damage to devices or receivers. The kit includes a single power supply, allowing the receiver to power the wall plate remotely, saving installation time and costs.
