Are you in search of a compact, lightweight, and detachable fiber optic transmitter and receiver pair  Look no further than the 616T and 616R Dual Link Detachable DVI Optical Transmitter & Receiver. These devices are designed to transmit uncompressed resolutions of up to WQXGA (2560x1600 at 60Hz) or WQUXGA (3840x2400 at 33Hz vertical refresh rate), also known as 4K, over a dual link DVI to a range of up to 500 meters (1640').Utilizing duplex multimode fiber optic cable with two LC connectors, the 616T converts dual link DVI signals into optical signals, which it then transmits to the 616R. The 616R, in turn, decodes these optical signals back into a dual link DVI signal. With a maximum data rate of 13.5Gbps (2.25Gbps per graphic channel), the 616R/T Dual Link Detachable DVI Optical Transmitter & Receiver supports a variety of resolutions. These include HDTV: 480p, 720p, 1080p, and Vesa: VGA to WQUXGA at 33Hz (XGA not supported). These devices are 4K compatible and are not HDCP compliant. They adhere to Laser Standards Compliance: IEC 60825-1, FDA 21CFR1040, ensuring the safety of laser products. The system range extends up to 500m (1640') (multimode), providing EMI/RFI free transmission.The 616T also features EDID Capture, which copies and stores the EDID from a display device. The devices can be powered by external power adapters (supplied) or 5V DC from source (auto detect). In terms of standards compliance, the 616R/T Dual Link Detachable DVI Optical Transmitter & Receiver supports DVI1.0, fully implemented by fiber-optic communication, and DDC2B by virtual DDC. It is a Class A digital device, pursuant to part 15 and 2 of FCC and CE Applications.These devices are ideal for digital flat panel and plasma displays used in medical, commercial, and travel applications. They are also perfect for conference rooms and auditoriums, kiosks with digital flat panel displays for presenting information, and LED signboards in streets and stadiums.
