About Kramer Electronics KADS-1
The KADS-1 is an active speaker with multi-channel, digital audio, RS-232 data and power provided over a single cable. It is designed to be used in conjunction with the KADS-100 controller. Up to eight speakers can be daisy-chained. RS-232 data and commands flow bi-directionally allowing remote status requests and control of any device in the chain.
