While DVI cables are typically limited to short runs, the PT-571HDCP Transmitter allows your DVI signals to travel hundreds of feet, far beyond the standard 15 to 30 feet limit. This makes it an ideal choice for large facilities or complex installations where extended reach is crucial. The PT-571HDCP Transmitter is equipped with a 29-pin DVI-I input and a CAT-5 output with an RJ-45 connector, specifically designed for STP cable. Please note that only the digital DVI-D signal is available on the connector. To revert the twisted-pair signal back to a DVI signal, pair this transmitter with the Kramer Electronics PT-572HDCP Receiver (sold separately). The device supports a maximum data rate of 1.65 Gb/s, offering ample bandwidth for high-definition television (HDTV) formats. The transmission range of the PT-571HDCP Transmitter is dependent on several factors, including signal resolution, graphics card, display, and the type of cables used. Kramer Electronics has conducted extensive testing with their own cables to ensure optimal performance. When used with a shielded BC-DGKat524 cable, the device can transmit up to 295 ft at SXGA resolution, or up to 98 ft at UXGA. With a shielded BC-DGKat623 cable, the range extends to 295 ft at SXGA or up to 230 ft at UXGA. And with a shielded BC-DGKat723 cable, the range can reach up to 330 ft at SXGA or up to 265 ft at UXGA.
