Engineered with a focus on security, the SM40NU-3 isolates each host to protect against data leakage and malicious attacks via shared peripherals. It also offers the unique feature of assigning a USB port to a specific computer while switching other peripherals, a useful function when a USB smart card reader needs to remain mapped to a particular computer.
This reliable KM switch is NIAP Common Criteria Protection Profile version 3.0 (PP3.0) certified, offering the highest possible isolation between connected computers. This certification ensures the highest level of security for peripheral sharing switch (PSS) devices, allowing you to work freely without compromising security.
The SM40NU-3 is designed to prevent information leaks and block peripheral exploits, eavesdropping, signal transmission, and computer malware, as well as hardware and firmware tampering. It also has the capability to filter USB peripherals, allowing or blocking specific USB devices based on their VID/PID characteristics.
Experience smooth switching between computers with the Virtual Display Technology, which automatically switches all peripheral control from one computer to another by simply dragging the cursor between each computer's display border. The front panel features a keyboard lock indication for Caps Lock, Num Lock, and Scroll Lock.
