The TP-588D extends video signals up to 100m (330ft) over CAT copper cables, supporting up to 4K at 60Hz (4:2:0) 24bpp video resolution. This ensures superior video quality even at extended distances, making it ideal for professional setups requiring long-range signal transmission.

As a standard extender, the TP-588D seamlessly integrates with any HDBaseT-compliant extension product available in the market. For optimal extension reach and performance, it is recommended to pair this device with Kramer cables.

This device is HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 1.4 compliant, supporting deep color, x.v.Color, lip sync, HDMI uncompressed audio channels, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD, 2K, 4K, and 3D. The EDID signal is passed through from the source to the display, ensuring a smooth and seamless transmission.

The TP-588D also features I-EDIDPro Kramer Intelligent EDID Processing, an intelligent EDID handling, processing, and pass-through algorithm that guarantees Plug and Play operation for HDMI source and display systems.

This device supports up to 32 channels of digital stereo uncompressed signals, providing studio-level surround sound. The Audio De-embedding (Drop-and-Continue) feature allows the transmitted digital audio signal to be de-embedded from the AV signal, converted to digital or analog signals for transmission to stereo S/PDIF digital and balanced analog audio outputs.

The TP-588D also offers Ethernet extension, allowing up to 100Mbps Ethernet connectivity for LAN communication and device control. It also supports bidirectional RS-232 and Infrared extensions, enabling data transmission and remote control of peripheral devices located at either end of the extended line.

For easy maintenance and troubleshooting, the TP-588D is equipped with status LED indicators for DVI, HDMI, and HDBT ports. It also supports remote device management via built-in web pages and RS-232 connection. Firmware upgrades can be easily done via mini-USB, RS-232, or Ethernet connection using the K-Upload tool.

The TP-588D is designed for easy installation with single cable connectivity for both HDBaseT signals and power. Its compact MegaTOOLS fan-less enclosure allows for dropped-ceiling mounting or side-by-side mounting of 2 units in a 1U rack space with the recommended rack adapter.
