This state-of-the-art matrix switcher, designed by the reputable Kramer Electronics, is capable of reclocking and equalizing signals, ensuring optimal performance and signal integrity.This high-tech device can route any one of six HDMI, HDCP-compliant sources, selectable to any or all outputs simultaneously, offering unmatched flexibility. The innovative VS-66UHD also boasts a versatile audio scheme, allowing any HDMI digital audio input to be routed to any HDMI digital audio output. This, combined with ARC support, creates an equivalent 12x9 audio matrix, making it an ideal choice for complex audio-visual setups.The VS-66UHD Matrix Switcher supports a maximum data rate of 8.91Gbps (2.97Gbps per graphics channel) and a maximum resolution of 4K at 60Hz (4:2:0). It also features an independent 12x9 Audio Matrix with 6 embedded digital inputs + 6 ARC inputs and 6 digital outputs + 3 ARC outputs.For quick access to common configurations, the VS-66UHD offers 12 memory locations. It also features automatic input selection based on priority selection or the last connected input. The HDMI support extends to Deep Color, 3D, ARC, and up to 7.1 uncompressed audio channels.The VS-66UHD is equipped with Kramer's reKlocking and Equalization Technology, which rebuilds the digital signal to travel longer distances. It also includes an embedded pattern generator with selectable patterns and a lock button to prevent tampering.Firmware upgrades are simple and can be done via mini USB, Ethernet, or the RS-232 port. Control options include RS-232 serial commands transmitted by a PC, touch screen system, or other serial controller, Ethernet port via LAN, and embedded Web pages via LAN for configuration and control. The standard 19" (1U) size and included rack "ears" make installation a breeze.
