About Klark Teknik DN9680-MM
The DN9680-MM multi-mode optical fiber transceiver module kit is a retrofit replacement to convert two KLARK TEKNIK DN9680 8 Port AES50 Extender and Multiplexer units from single mode fiber to multi-mode fiber operation.
A pair of DN9680 units fitted with DN9680-MM modules enables a bidirectional optical link on one multi-mode dual fiber cable and supports the transmission of 192 bidirectional channels of 24 bit digital audio at 96 kHz sample rate over a 500 meter range. An internal dual multi mode optical fiber cable terminating in LC-Duplex connectors is included to link the optical fiber module to the Neutrik opticalCON DUO connector mounted on the rear panel of the DN9680.
Two optical fiber modules and internal cables are provided in the DN9680-MM kit.
