Saved My Video from FAILURE
We had a tight shooting schedule at a horse ranch and I had to get down some interviews on location outside.
We did some without the K-tek Fuzzy, thinking we could just reduce wind nosie in Post-Production through Adobe Audition. Side-Note, never "think" you can remove wind noise from an interview.
I decided to put this on the Sennheiser clip on mic and it truly saved the day and hours of post production headaches. Wind interference went to zero and voices came through crystal clear. I will never do an outside video spot that requires narration or commentary on site without these!
Stays on even in 15 mph winds and the dark color is not distracting. It also eliminates the noise of cloth brushing against the microphone when clipped under the lapel or jacket for a more descrete appearance.
I definitely recommend it for any lav mic.
