While the Kupo G203012 2-1/2 inch Grip Head (Silver) may appear simple, it is a robust and versatile tool essential for any photography or videography setup. This high-quality grip head is constructed from durable stainless steel, ensuring longevity and resistance to corrosion even under heavy use. The grip head features a pair of rotating aluminum discs, securely attached to a 5/8 inch (16 mm) receiver. These discs are designed with four differently sized "V" shaped jaws, making it compatible with any accessory equipped with a 5/8 inch, 1/2 inch, 3/8 inch, or 1/4 inch mounting stud or tubing. The unique "V" shaped jaws are equipped with "teeth" that firmly grip any mounted equipment, ensuring stability and safety during use.One of the standout features of the Kupo G203012 2-1/2 inch Grip Head is its oversized ergonomic "T" handle. This big handle not only enhances ease of use but also allows for precise adjustments. I added this grip to my repertoire of equipment and it has carried its weight. KUPO will not disappoint you. This grip holds up KUPO's Baby Boom Arm for butterfly lighting setups.

Very Solid Grip - Highly Recommended

Nothing fancy except the over sized grip. It is more comfortable for my big hands. As I have not had it very long i cannot comment on the longevity but it seems well made. I have not had any issues with it sticking while trying to open as some have commented. That said, I don't crank it down as it holds well with just  a little bit of tightening. I have used Mathews and avenger and find the Kupo to work just the same as those. As with all grip equipment, time will tell.

Great addition to turtle base

Since I stated using Kupo products I have not been disappointed.  Kupo delivers exactly what they advertise in their products, strength and durability.  The Kupo Grip Head with big handle is  great for holding monolights, extension arms and just about anything you can configure. It also works well with Kupo's 20", 30" or 40" Master C stand with turtle base.  The possiblities are endless.  When you start using Kupo products, you will be hooked, and want more.
