Sturdy and well built
For occasions when I need to have overhead lighting for headshots or tabletop setups, this boom is perfect. Shot some recent portraits with a Profoto D1 Air and Elinchrome Rotalux 135. The monolight and modifier weigh about 9 lbs, which is exceeds this boom's 6.6 lb capacity- but I didn't plan on extending the boom to its maximum length, so it works well.
