These pins came recommended from an Adorama diplomat ? Seth Miranda ? and I could not be happier. I bought two and found them to be sturdy and well tooled.

Great product at a great price

Sturdy accessory for a grip head or grip arm. Inserts into a grip head 5/8" V shaped jaw. Furthermore, it can be inserted into a baby receiver, and be pointed upward to mount objects overhead, or downward to suspend objects below. Not sure what the maximum weight it can handle. For my purpose, I'm mounting a Kupo Super Knuckle VESA Monitor Mount Kit, MS Surface Pro 6 and a surface pro dock (about 8 lbs.) above the grip head and supports the weight without any problems.

Tried using this item with my Neewer c-stand and boom. For the most part it worked pretty well. The knuckle had a pretty good grip on it but then I guess the weight was too much on it and the pin started to slide down. May be user error. Maybe its the c-stand. I feel the pin is extremely slick with the chrome

This was what I needed to attach my FlashPoint S-type Bowens Mount adapter (for eVOLV 200, Streaklight 360, flashes), Twin Head, and AD600 Pro to the Flashpoint C-stand.It isn't perfect but it works well enough to help keep model and equipment safe.

Works Well Enough

Needed this pin for mounting light on arm, great finish on this and will work well for my needs.

I like the fact it has the knurled (textured) area for my strobe mount to screw down against.  Better would of been a flat ground into the pin so the light wouldn't turn.

Basic but it works

This pairs perfectly with a Kupo grip head to be able to mount lights and other things that require a male receiver. It's extremely strong and the best quality I've used. I don't settle for anything less than perfection! Also the serrations make it very good to keep your light from rotating.
