great product holds lots of weight.
well made and very strong
The grip surface on this is huge and it tightens securely (and easily), so it's very strong. It should easily hold even a 7' umbrella, although I don't have one that big. The bracket itself is metal, while the tightening lever and knobs are plastic, but it all feels well made. Overall, I'm VERY happy with it and will be buying another when I get a second light stand.
