They added rubber tips to the holder but haven't updated the photo. It works great.

They added Rubber tips!

Be careful, these are very tight on Quasar RGB and X-fade lights. The metal clips have sharp edges and will damage your light housing. A user elsewhere said to put some gaff on the clips which is probably a smart idea. You will need to loosen these a bit by pulling them apart, but I've heard others say they broke their clips doing that. All things considered, might be worth it to just get the Quasar brand bulb holders.

If using for Quasars...

This Kupo holder is a bit complicated for what I needed. It also does not hold onto the lamp in a secure enough way for me Solved this with a bit of velcro for what its worth. Not a great solution, but gets the job done.

These mounts are great! The articulating arm is extremely important when tweaking a quasar or other LED tube.

Tweaking the Light

i use this with a Quasar Crossfade. It's a little snug, but otherwise a great mounting option. Definitely a smart choice over the Quasar 100 dollar option.
