Yes, a c stand is a Cstand, but these are better with some minor differences. From turtle base to the easy lock release you?ll soon see why I swapped all my stands. One of my favorite features of this stand is the locking legs. Easy to lock into place and easy to break down. But most importantly, the legs won?t collapse if someone trips over a leg.

Got this for my son’s home studio, and this stand was definitely worth the extra money. Built like a tank, easy to use, and it feels like it’ll provide years of dependable support.

Make your photography or filmmaking project a success with the 40" Master Raiser C-Stand with Turtle Base. This high-quality, durable stand is a staple in the industry, known for its strength, versatility, and reliability.
The Master Raiser C-Stand is designed to support a variety of lighting equipment, light shaping tools, and accessories, making it an essential piece of equipment for any professional setup. Its unique design includes two spring-loaded legs that open in fixed positions, while the third leg is height adjustable. This feature allows for easy leveling on uneven terrain or inclines, making it a perfect choice for on-location shoots.
This 40" double riser stand boasts two telescoping risers and one main section, extending to a maximum height of 116". When combined with the height of the base, you can achieve your desired maximum height with ease. The stand's unique base is designed with three varied leg heights, allowing for close proximity mounting of lights and other equipment, or easy storage.
The Master Raiser C-Stand is built to last, featuring a zinc alloy casting on its base that's five times stronger than aluminum. This ensures it can sustain the weight of heavy sandbags and withstand the rigors of a busy set. The stand's aluminum casted locking collars are equipped with a stainless steel heli-coil, protecting the aluminum from potential damage caused by the knob's stainless steel bolt.
Finished in a sleek, stealthy black powder coating, the 40" Master Raiser C-Stand with Turtle Base is not just functional, but stylish too. Whether you're a seasoned professional or an ambitious beginner, this C-Stand is a reliable addition to your photography or filmmaking equipment.
