This 4K NDI converter is designed to support 4K HDMI video input (encoder) to NDI High Bandwidth, complete with a 4K HDMI loop-through for real-time monitoring. It also facilitates 4K HDMI video output (decoder) from NDI High Bandwidth, making it a true two-way solution.

The N40 is equipped with a range of advanced features including Power over Ethernet (PoE), a large built-in tally light, PTZ control, and a 3.5mm audio mic in/out. It also supports multi-channel audio and intercom functions, making it a comprehensive solution for accessing the NDI network.

The NDI protocol, known for its high-performance and ultra-low-latency video capabilities, allows for seamless integration with existing IP video networks. The N40 also supports NDI Webcam Input, enabling the use of Kiloview NDI encoders as the video input source in popular desktop video applications such as Google Hangouts, GoToMeeting, Skype, WebEx, Zoom, and Teams.

The N40 stands out with its real 4K capabilities. Thanks to the HDMI2.0 interface, it supports real 4Kp60 video input, converting it to NDI High Bandwidth and looping through for monitoring. It also supports NDI High Bandwidth to 4K HDMI output, ensuring high image quality.

This compact device (100x80x28mm) can function as both an NDI encoder and decoder, offering versatility in your workflows. The N40 also supports 3.5mm analog audio mic in/out or embedded audio, and voice intercom via a USB headset with the Kiloview Intercom server.

With the NDI discovery server, the N40 auto-detects your video source, making it easily discoverable and connectable by users on another network. In decoding mode, Kiloview's unique technology ensures seamless switching between output NDI videos without lag.

The N40 also supports PTZ control through USB to serial RS232/485/422, and over IP without the need for extra cables. It features a large, bright, and distinct tally for PVW/PGM indication, facilitating perfect team cooperation.

With PoE, the N40 can be powered with a single cable connection. It also supports a wide DC input range from 5V to 18V, allowing for easy power supply via USB or camera battery.
