The RMG-300 V2 Dual-Channel Rackmount IP Video Media Gateway is a versatile and high-performance embedded device designed to seamlessly bridge a wide range of IP protocols. It excels in multi-channel video decoding, supporting formats such as NDI/HX, SRT, RTMP, RTSP, TS-UDP, and HLS, converting them to SDI and HDMI outputs. This media gateway offers flexibility with its ability to handle the same or different content, enabling multi-view output, streaming, video image segmentation, and protocol cross-conversion.

As a protocol converter, the RMG-300 V2 is compatible with NDI/HX (2.0), SRT, RTMP, RTMPS, RTSP, TS-UDP, and HLS, supporting up to nine protocols for cross-conversion. Each input stream can be converted into four outputs, each using the same or different protocols. Its powerful IP stream function allows for multi-channel video streams to be republished as a multiview video source with customizable layouts. It supports up to nine channels of IP streaming distribution, with each stream capable of being pushed to four different targets simultaneously.

Functioning as a media server, the RMG-300 V2 supports up to 50 concurrent accesses for stream distribution and live streaming. As a transcoder, it facilitates video transcoding between H.264 and H.265 formats, merging multiple video streams into a single output for live broadcast platforms. Additionally, it serves as a decoder, supporting up to 4K H.264/H.265 IP streams and outputting them via 3G-SDI and 4K HDMI interfaces. It can decode up to nine video channels simultaneously, with configurations such as nine channels at 1080P30, eight channels at 1080P60, or four channels at 4KP30.

The RMG-300 V2 ensures low latency and high-quality output with intelligent delay control technology, achieving less than 200ms decoding delay in network environments. It incorporates image enhancement and fault-tolerant technology to deliver clear and distortion-free decoding, even with low-code-encoded video and up to 10% network packet loss. The RTMP server support allows direct video transmission from the encoder to the Kiloview decoder using the RTMP protocol, eliminating the need for an RTMP platform.

With dual output capabilities, the RMG-300 V2 offers 3G-SDI and 4K HDMI interfaces, allowing for the same or different content output. The HDMI output supports resolutions up to 3840x2160 at 60Hz, while the SDI output supports up to 1920x1080 at 60Hz. Users can customize their output display with free layout options, including grids, picture-in-picture (PIP), picture-by-picture (PBP), and picture-outside-picture (POP). The output resolution is adjustable, with options for de-interlacing and frame rate adjustments, along with customizable output backgrounds and on-screen display (OSD).

The video previewing function allows users to preview 16 real-time video streams or images on its web interface, selecting nine streams for output on the display screen. Additional features include support for SDI/HDMI embedded audio or 3.5mm analog audio output, audio mixing capabilities, and dual network ports for versatile management.
