Let's be honest, all lense caps just fall off, can't be trusted. These rubber ones are the best. They stay on no matter what and are cheap to replace. They might crack after a few years like a rubber band but they have a lifetime warranty, and really are just a cheap wear item that you can buy every couple years.

I like that it will stay on the lens. It is always tricky to get the standard ones on which is why I probably have lost many. I don't like that I usually always have the lens hood on and of course it does not go over that. Even if I store the hood on the lens the cap wont go over it. Still great for a lens not in use or a lens that I am not using the hood.

Really love this! Easy to use and fits on all my lenses! From my 50mm to my 24-70 & 24-120! Big lenses! It’s been great so far! I will say they attract a lot of dust and fibers from my bag but easy to clean!

I saw this at Kickstarter. Since I’ve replaced goodness know how many lens caps on my 50mm f1.4 FD lens, I took a chance and ordered two at one go! I’m surprised it fit so nicely on my FD lens and as well as my Canon EF lenses!! Best invention & design ever!

As a landscape and adventure photographer, one of my concerns is to protect my camera gear during shooting sessions. This lens cover replaces the original cap by offering additional protection and can be mounted on both the front and back of the lens. The advantage is indeed the safety of being able to travel without the risk of damaging the glasses. In fact, the cap is made of soft rubber that virtually fits all lenses except the smallest ones (e.g., pancakes) and protects them from shocks, water, dust, etc. I find it convenient the possibility to switch between lenses using the same cap for each of them. A flaw, in my opinion, is the impossibility of mounting the lens hood with the cap, but everyone will find a way to transport it. In brief, I recommend the purchase of this cap to all photographers who want additional protection for their equipment.

I absolutely love these things! They act as a traditional lens cap, but also offer protection. I'm a family and portrait photographer and am constantly switching between lenses in between and during shoots -- I use these to protect both ends of my lenses while not in use. Easy to put on and get off, they look great and they fit over all of my lenses which aren't the same sizes. Can't recommend enough!

I'm never buying another lens cap. I purchased the KUVRD lens cap because I always misplace my lens caps on shoots, I wanted something I was sure wouldn't fall off. I tried lens leashes and velcro connectors but they either interfered with my lens focusing or lost their stick quickly. The KUVRD lens cap doesn't budge! It's incredibly protective, keeps the glass on my lenses super clean and protected from dirt, water and dust. I love having the peace of mind that my lens aren't going to be affected by the elements since I always shoot outdoors. Its also super awesome to just shove it in your pocket and not worry about it slipping out or losing it in your bag somewhere, it easily fits in any corner of my bag. I tried it on my 35 mm, 50 mm and 85 mm and it fits all of my lenses. I love how I can throw one on each side of my lens and its completely covered, I know my lens has an extra layer of protection and cushion in my bag Overall will be buying these for years to come

Been using it for about a week. Snug fit over our Canon 35mm 1.4. Love that it feels secure. If you want something that's easy to use and something you can use for any lens you have, this is awesome. Will definitely be carrying it with us when we travel. Cons: Not easy to throw on so if you need something quick, use a traditional lens. Also, can't use the lens hood with it.

1. These are terrific lens caps/protectors. I finally feel at ease tossing one of my primes into my bag and going - impact resistant, water resistant, and dust proof. Nothing gets in to the lens. 2. The customer service from these guys is better than any company I’ve dealt with. I had an issue with a coupon not working on their site when I ordered - they returned my email within an hour, and refunded the coupon amount immediately. Then, one of my 10-pack had a small tear in it when I opened it - again, my email was returned immediately and a replacement was sent. It’s unbelievable. Congratulations to this Kurvd team. I’m a loyal customer now.

This is exactly what I wanted it to be. My last trip with my DSLR had me scrambling for the right lens cover and mount cover. No more!! I can use the same cap for all of my gear now. Photos show my collection of gear all with the covers on. Installation is easy and larger lenses will require both hands. While I am not ready to throw my lenses on the ground, i do feel there is more protection here the just the naked lens in my bag. The material is about a mm thick and should protect the lens and mount with no issues. While out an about, you can remove the cover and place in your pocket for safe keeping. Very compact and snaps back to shape. Customer service from the company is good. They are responsive to emails (usually in the AM as they seem to be busy shipping orders the rest of the day). Expect 24 hr turnaround for responses.

Where have these been all my life?? This lens cap has made my life so much easier. I don't have to worry about the protection of lenses because the ULC does that for me! It definitely keeps dirt and dust out and protects it from rain and other elements. I'm so glad I bought this. Would highly recommend.

The ULC makes it easy to protect my glass while traveling to remote locations and from the elements. Easy to put on, take off and store in my bag. Wow! What a sensible invention! I purchased 5 of these lens covers and I no longer have to worry about misplaced lens caps. What I really like about these lens protectors is how snug they fit the lens and the overall protection it offers. One size seems to fit any size lens and when I get more lenses, I'll be buying more Kuvrd Caps! PS. Had a small issue with one of the caps in which the company's customer was outstanding! I use the KUVRD over the standard plastic lens cap that can scratch the lens if put on wrong or in a hurry. The KUVRD also works better if you are putting the camera lens-down in a bag. My plastic caps always came off under pressure and I feared they would scratch the lens. The KUVRD is much better.

I came across this gem through Indiegogo and immediately backed. Received mine recently and tried it immediately. It fits all Fuji zoom lenses as well as prime lenses with 58mm diameter lenses. Haven't tried on smaller lenses. One thing which really impressed me is this lens cap not only covers the front glass but the whole body. Surely this product offers the best protection for your lens.

I supported the KUVRD Kickstarter, so my lens caps are early run. These are very useful for keeping dust and other particulates out of your lens when out and about. I tend to have clumsy moments while on the trail and these looked like a great solution to helping me protect my lenses. I took a couple of these with me on vacation and they did well at keeping the sand, water, etc off the elements (and protecting from an accidental fall while on an uneven, rocky, trail). The only real downside is they don't really fit wider lesses in the 77mm+ range (filter size) ... I have a wide-angle lens with an 85mm filter that this just kind of puckered up on. If these had a larger size for those lenses these would be perfect!

I absolutely love the idea behind this type of lens cover - universal, convenient and sturdy. The reality of this product, however, is anything but. Its stated specs say it can handle virtually all lens, not true. Perhaps a nifty 50 sized lens. I also anticipated a relatively thick and durable rubber, only to find this is so thin I can't imagine it would last any length of time. Mine did not, and ripped on the second use! My suggestion: use a thicker, sturdier rubber and forget the universal BS. Vary the size per lens and I'll be happy to pay the exorbitant price you're charging.
