Like almost all things, there's bad with the good. The good: for a less then premium price, these binoculars tease up into premium performance (these stand up well to $500 +/- compacts I've used). Low to no CA, very sharp in the center, minimal sharpness falloff to the edges, very solid feeling build and comfortable in the hand. The bad: The case is too big for the binoculars and is something I'd expect to come with sub-one hundred dollar products. Included are 4 separate lens covers, each with a tiny loop molded in for attaching them to something. I saw something, because it isn't included and the loop openings aren't very big, so you'll have to use string or something similarly small diameter. If you don't attache the caps to the binoculars or the strap, you are sure to lose them. And, the front and rear caps differ in diameter by only 2mm, so appear virtually identical. So, you have to loop some cord through both the rear caps, and a separate cord through the front caps so they don't get mixed up. Caps are an absolute must and having to jerryrig a way to hang onto them - a way that looks cheesy and will result in 4 caps dangling from the binoculars or the strap - is really annoying. 
Overall, the optics are excellent and the build is really nice. If you can get by the problems with the peripherals, these are  a really good bargain.
