Necessary Accessory

Well made and functional. I feel more comfortable using the scope knowing it is protected during normal usage. You can lay in the trunk and not worry about it. Be careful with the focus knob cover, it becomes completely detached. So stow it with the lens covers when you are operating the scope. As others have noted, if you are using a quick release on the tripod mount, the cover as is will no longer reach across and fasten. A bit pricey, so the one star reduction. But it is the only game in town.
