"PROMINAR" with XD lenses - Highest visual performance
XD (eXtra low Dispersion) glass is utilized for the objective lenses. This thoroughly removes chromatic aberration that exerts a great influence on visual performance of the binoculars and realizes sharpness and high contrast in the field of view as far as the peripheral part. Significantly reducing the chromatic aberration which cannot be removed by achromatic objective lenses made of normal glass, the series promises the best visual performance worthy of the name "PROMINAR".

Full multi-coating/KR coating
All surfaces of the lenses and the prisms are multi-coated and thus provide a bright and sharp field of view. The objective lenses are applied with KR coating to shed water, oil and dirt.

C3 coating/Phase coating
The surfaces of the prisms are applied with C3 coating to enhance reflectivity and the phase coating to improve the contrast. It significantly reduces loss of light and realizes a brighter and higher contrast view.

Minimum focusing distance of just 1.5m
These binoculars enable a close focus of 1.5m and are ideal for observation of plants and insects within a close range as well as objectives in the distance.

Fully waterproof design filled with nitrogen gas
The housing is fully waterproof and filled with nitrogen gas, which prevents internal fogging of the lenses. These binoculars can be used with reliability under severe environments.
