The Kowa TSN-DA10 Digiscoping Adapter turns your Kowa TSN-88 or TSN-77 scope into a long, powerful lens that helps you get great wildlife shots. To use the DA10, just affix it to the outside of your scope's eyepiece, attach a TSN-AR adapter ring to your camera's filter threads, then attach camera + TSN-AR ring to the DA10. If your camera does not accept filters, you can use the TSN-DA4 bracket in much the same way. TSN-DA4 affixes to DA10 and allows quick exchange between viewing/digiscoping, without needing to use a camera's filter threads.
The focal length of your digiscoping combination is based on the focal length of your digital camera's lens while in use and the eyepiece's magnification. So if you were using a 100mm digital camera lens and a 20x eyepiece, the combination would produce a focal length equivalent to 2000mm. All ventures in the world of digiscoping require the use of a sturdy tripod, first and foremost. You must take great care to keep vibrations during exposure to an absolute minimum-vibration suppression pads will help quite a bit here. Employing a cable release, electronic release or remote control for tripping the shutter is absolutely necessary.
