Yep! It needs work but it is so cheap and easy to fix up that it earns 5-Stars anyway. It’s a well though out and well built little buddy and all it needs to shine is something to stiffen up the sides. Do what you want. You’re a creative type or you’d be looking at baseball bats and not this stuff. A few cuts of stiff neoprene or perhaps something like thick foam sheeting like I used (available for Hobby Lobby or Joan’s fabrics type places), a touch of fabric glue and you’ve got the equivalent of a $150 dollar bag. I use this in many configurations but usually I tote my Zoom F6 and the fixin’s for a boom poll, plus 2 or more wireless mic receivers, an extra battery and a few other odds and ends. This is a good choice for a sound man and though it is not the best in the world, at the price, there is no substitute. So, yes. 5-Stars without a doubt.
