The Cloud Microphones U1 shock mount makes use of Rycotes patented vibration-resistant W-shaped Lyre Mount system carefully oriented around a central mounting ring with fully adjustable fasteners. The U1 will fit all Cloud Microphones boutique ribbon mics, but can also handle a wide array of classic and modern mics, including larger mics that are difficult to mate or those that have been previously limited to proprietary mounts. The U1 also provides a perfect solution for both side address as well as many end address mics, especially those with medium to larger size body styles.
