For added convenience, holding a button allows the time to ramp slowly at first, then more rapidly, facilitating both coarse and fine adjustments. A locking pushbutton enables users to bypass the DSP time delay section without losing stored delay values, which are securely saved in non-volatile memory, ensuring the RU-ADL2 retains its settings even after power interruptions.

The rear panel is equipped with terminals for full remote control, including a LOCKOUT terminal to disable front-panel time adjustments, enhancing security and control in professional settings.
