Designed for broadcast sports, live entertainment, eSports, news-gathering, and streaming applications, this beltpack offers professional audio quality and an intuitive user experience. A single Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) connection, along with a dynamic or phantom-powered microphone and headphones or earpiece, is all you need to get started.
Configuration is a breeze with the STcontroller software, allowing you to adjust microphone preamplifier gain, P48 phantom power, headphone signal routing, sidetone operation, and talkback button action. The Model 381 boasts exceptional audio quality, characterized by low distortion, minimal noise, and high headroom, thanks to its meticulous circuit design and robust components.
The Model 381 serves as an "all-Dante" solution for on-air talent, offering two Dante audio input channels for talent cue signals and two output channels for main and talkback functions. The integrated sidetone feature provides a microphone confidence signal when needed. The top-panel pushbutton switch combines talkback and "cough" functions, with five configuration options to tailor its operation to your needs.
Setup is straightforward: connect via an etherCON RJ45 jack to a PoE-enabled network switch, providing both power and digital audio. The 3-pin XLR microphone input accommodates both dynamic and condenser microphones, with optional P48 phantom power. Stereo headphones or a monaural earpiece connect easily to the headphone output jack, with rotary controls for adjusting talent cue signal levels.
The Model 381's durable aluminum alloy enclosure is lightweight and rugged, featuring a stainless steel belt clip for easy attachment.
