Excellent Headphone amp for monitoring or referencing up to 96kHz. With PoE I hook up to switch and I can use on location or just keep in studio for having ready to just throw headphones on and play. Very sturdy and nice design.

When I saw RedNet and Dante, I knew it was the future, and that I would go down that path. The AM2 and RedNet 3 combination have been better than the replaced usb interface. I did need to get a Netgear GS516TP switch, PoE works great, and setup the DSCP queues, and the latency is non-issue. Using the DVC card, license comes with AM2 as well. Well thought out design, and perfect for what I needed. Eliminated man cables, replaced a separate headphone amp. If you want the 2 channel input, go for the X2P. If you just need a headphone amp, or monitor controller, this is the ticket. Planning to buy a couple more, and place them around the studio, so long headphone extension cords, etc.
