This state-of-the-art device, while preserving the standard interface and common programs from its predecessors, introduces a new level of sound refinement with its innovative "REV-x" reverb algorithm and a 96kHz audio DSP.
The SPX2000 is more than just a multi-effects processor; it's a powerhouse of audio enhancement. Its hardware boasts a 96kHz audio DSP, complemented by 32-bit internal processing (58-bit accumulator), providing ample processing power for the advanced effect algorithms. This ensures your audio is not just processed, but enhanced to its maximum potential.
The device's 24-bit 128-times over-sampling AD/DA converters offer a dynamic range of 106dB and a flat response from 20Hz to 40kHz at a 96kHz sampling rate. This aligns perfectly with the DM series Digital Production Console quality, ensuring your audio is consistently top-notch.
The SPX2000 doesn't stop at delivering high-quality sound; it also offers a variety of effects to choose from. With seventeen programs powered by the next-generation "REV-x" reverb algorithms, you can expect rich reverberation tones and smooth decay. The effect classes range from Reverb and Early Reflections to Delay and Echo, Pitch Change, Modulation, Filter, Distortion, Combination Effects, and Freeze.
The user-friendly LCD of the SPX2000 offers five backlight color variations that can be freely assigned to any user programs. The preset programs are color-coded by effect groups for easy recognition, even from a distance.

- Filter: These new programs include Dynamic Filter, Multi Filter and Multi-band Dynamic Processor. Program #78 Dyna Filter gives you powerful control over the sound by allowing you to vary the central frequency of the filter with the signal itself or via MIDI velocity
- Combination Effects: A variety of multi effect programs give you even greater signal processing flexibility and creativity, putting reverb and modulation together, or combining delay with ambience
- Freeze: The Freeze effect turns the SPX2000 into a phrase sampler, ideal for looping parts during live performance. Quality is exceptionally high (96 kHz), even for long phrases up to nearly 3 seconds
