I usually prefer the hard case to store my external hard drive. There is just enough space to store the drive and the usb cord.

Travel all over the world and absolutely have to have something to protect my hard drives as I shoot images. Have dropped the hard drives (in the case and they still work perfectly. Great protection for some very rough travel shooting wildlife and cultures around the world...

This is the only case I will own for my external hard drives. It is a very sturdy case and feels strong so it protects the drive while in storage with other electronics or if being transported in a laptop bag with other items. I never worry about the safety of my drive in this case. I store the drives in their cases when they are not in use too. I like to color code the case to represent the use of a specific drive so it is easier to grab the right one. Photos are in the burgundy colored case while music is in blue. It's a great product and clearly one I've enjoyed organizing with. I panicked at the store today when I saw they weren't carrying the product anymore.. Thankfully it was still online. It made me realize I should buy a few extras for fear the product might be retired. I love it!

This works well for: portable disk drives HP Calculators 16C, 15C, 12C Small radios such as Kato portables Ipods VOM's, and other small instrumentsOther small portable items that must be transported. Seem durable. I own several cases like this one some for over a year and they hold up very well. Nice product.

Fits a Freeagent Go Hard Drive tightly, but securely. Good stoarage for that hard drive.

By looking at this product i thought was alittle slimmer on website. Also material is alittle harder. Price was ok.
