My First Laptop
I can say that I am enjoying my new laptop since this is my first laptop, always had a tower computer. Good quality for the price and I would recommend. I also like the personal contact I had with the salesperson. So now I have purchased a printer from HP via online.

Beloved HP Computers
I am an HP only buyer?my purchase of the 17" has a few problems. It is pretty slow to react, the task manager pops up when shutting down preventing me from shutting down. Probably my fault, but this is not a touchscreen. I've never had any type of problems with HP products but this one is a bit grumpy. I still remain a loyal HP fan, no matter!

Laptop is good for me, but missing a few niceitys
The screen view is good, the speed is good, would have liked to have another USB port, and a HDMI port to connect to our big TV to watch various internet based TV shows. Like and appreciate the numeric keypad, but wish the laptop had the facility for lighting the keys for low light conditions (my previous laptop had these things, but didn't pass the Win11 criteria.

Poor keyboard.
Your keyboard is hard to read. Why did you make the letters so faint? The keys should be a true black, and the letters should be white with a little bolder font. I had to send the firdt computer back because you has gray keys with faint gray font. What are you thinking?

I was hoping for better.
I was hoping this computer would be faster than my last one, but it is slower. I7-8550u is the one I use most of the time.

Okay computer, used to run well for the first year.
I bought this laptop for in 2024 for my first year of college. This laptop USED to run well and dandy but now there's common issues.. Now a year later, the screen goes black often, system pop ups appear randomly, and it can't handle zoom sessions and switching tabs. The fan is obnoxiously loud while browsing google often, which is very rude considering I study in my school library. When watching videos, the screen would either freeze or the tab would be unclickable, forcing me to reopen the tabs. I used to be able to run simple video games with no issue, but now the laptop seems out of date. For the price and quality, it's worth it if you want this laptop temporarily. But having this laptop for a year and a half already, I would buy another one if I can afford one in a couple years.

Great Laptop and worth the Price!
This laptop is great, it is fast and does what I need to do among other things and is one of the best I have bought in awhile! If you want a dependable laptop at a great price, this is the one!!

Wonderful product, terrible experience with customer service!!
I really enjoy the new laptop and am learning something every time I use it. But I must say that the experience that I had with HP customer support was terrible. After setting up the laptop I had a few questions so I wrote them down then called customer support. I requested English as the language and the two people that I spoke with, their English was not good to put it mildly. The first person I talked to wanted to sell me an extended warranty, told him that this laptop was brand new and I had 30 days to return it but I was calling about a few questions that I had about using the laptop. I told him again why I was calling so he told me that they could help me but he would have to transfer me to a unit that could help me. After being on hold for some time and this guy coming back a couple of times I finally got to talk to a lady whose English was very marginal, told her why I was calling, had a few questions. She said she could help me but this would cost me $6.99 a month for the service. By this time I had had it, told her that I had just paid a decent price for this laptop and was not going to set up a plan for $6.99 a month to learn how to use it that I would go to YouTube and figure my issues out myself and hung up!! My only question now, is this what you call customer service??

Good price point but...
The price was right but the lack of an SD drive option was sad, especially with no DVD option. I also prefer left/right mouse buttons on the inbuilt mouse pad but again, the price was right.

Nice but could be much better
I love how quick the computer is at startup and updates...far faster than my old HP laptop...but it was 8 years old. However, extremely frustrated with the fact that HP installs Office 365 and I can't get rid of it...I tried numerous times to uninstall so that I can install my Office 2019...nope keeps saying that a new version is installed and proceeds to put wrong product code and then askes me to call and the call then says wrong product number and hangs up...The battery does NOT last more than a couple hours and doesn't recharge to 50% in 45 minutes...several hours later it's fully charged. None of those are a deal breaker, but don't install Office 365 if when I am ordering it I tell you I have and Full Office product that I will be installing myself!!!

Still Waiting for My Laptop - Unresolved Delivery Issue
I can't really review the HP Laptop 17t-cn300 itself because I never received it. My order "H364944930" was placed over a month ago, and the tracking said it was delivered, but I still don't have it. I've been in communication with HP support, and while some representatives have been responsive, the overall experience has been frustrating and disappointing. I've used HP products before at work and liked them, which is why I decided to order one for myself but this situation has left me hesitant. I hope HP resolves this soon so I can actually try the laptop and give a proper review.

Enjoyment of a new HP laptop
So far so good! I'm enjoying my new HP laptop, which has a wonderfully big vibrant screen. It's been interesting working with the HP OIT department, because my laptop was customized and basic features such as the speakers and microphone was not completely set up. Currently, I'v used my laptop for work and personal tasks. I just order a DVD player from HP and will be watching a couple of my favorite movies this weekend. I've had the same laptop since 2012, so it's definitely time for an upgrade.

Like My new 17" Laptop except for the fading keys on the keyboard
My last 17" HP Laptop lasted about 10 years before the no replaceable battery warned me of 6% life left and I knew it was time for a replacement, so I purchased this one at a remarkably great value. All is well with this one for the first couple of weeks, except for the white printing on the keys on the keyboard are already fading to the point that I have already had to purchase a stencil set to put over the keys so I can readd them. My old HP Laptop did not have this problem after 10 years, and the keyboard keys on it still appear like new, so I am quite disappointed in the way that the keys on this new PC have faded so drastically so soon
