I just had heart surgery which is why I'm giving this review as late as it is. I was advised by my daughter to buy a Laptop (CN2123NR) from BJS & since I'm a Senior Citizen & Viet Vet on a Fixed Income I figured I could get it for Less (cut out the middleman) by purchasing it directly from HP & so I called them & placed the order on 5/22 for that model or an equivalent. I was informed the model # was17t-cn300 17.3 touchscreen. The gentleman who took my order got one for me for Less Money & even though he was very nice.....some Very Important Details were left out of our conversation that I should've been made aware of. He repeated a date of June 5th several times & so I figured that was when it was going out. To make a Long Story Short it didn't arrive till over a month Later & upon making inquiries I was advised it was being specially made up in a foreign country (Thailand) which is why it was taking so long. Had I been informed of that information upon placing the order...I would've never ordered it from them, as I called the home office in Tenn. (Thought I was dealing with a USA Company) to place the order. Now I also find that it's either Not a touchscreen or that part of the assembly in Thailand was never added before it was sent out to me. All in All I should've listened to my Daughter & paid a few $$'s extra & would've had it within 3-5 DAYS...Not Over a Month!! This is my 2nd HP purchase (1st was a Printer from a store) & I'm very happy with it, but this purchase of a Laptop thru HP directly (Tenn.) was a REAL NIGHTMARE & therefore I cannot recommend the product or the Manufacturer (HP) & Will Not be buying any HP Products in the future.

I am very happy with my new hp laptop, which has everything I need in a computer. It is similar to my old hp laptop, which I used for several years. It was time for an upgrade, and I got a very good deal on this one. I hope it performs well for many years to come.

Edge to edge screen, rapid start and number key pad were requirements for me. Perfect size for all my apps using Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Would rather have more USB ports. I'd buy this again.

I have found this HP laptop is very hard to maneuver in it. I've never worked on a HP laptop or desktop computer before. This could possibly be the problem that I'm having. Each computer company has their own operating system.

The 17 inch screen is nice. I think once you get a 17 in screen it is hard to go back to anything smaller except maybe for travel. The laptop so far has been responsive with the I5 chip and 8MB of memory. The 256GB solid state drive is nice but in reality, you are only left with about 170GB to use. I might have opted for more drive space had I known so much space would be used up even before I got the computer. Setup was easy and updated software had to be downloaded before use. The computer was a nightmare to register as the website was telling me the serial number was invalid. Using the chat feature to solve the problem was fruitless. After several hours on hold and talking to customer service, it was resolved using the HP assistant app. I was stuck in a do loop with the AI chat assistant until I finally located a toll-free number. Access to customer service is almost impossible. I took a star away for this reason. I got the computer on a deep, discounted, very limited time sale which is the reason I got it (and that it is Windows 11). I would not pay the regular price.

I ordered my HP laptop thinking that i was getting an upgraded version of my old laptop. Unfortunately, many features of this new laptop are substandard. The camera installed on the laptop is not an IR camera, which is necessary to use the 'windows Hello' facial recognition security software; which is installed! The computer is clunky and the screen colors are not vivid. I would absolutely not buy this product again, despite the sale price.

I love the size of this laptop It seems to be working very well for what I'm using it for just would have liked been able to hook more than one monitor to it and have the power to USB-C port. I was thinking that all new laptops would have powered USBC ports but I was wrong that is my fault for not looking.

I have no problem with the laptop itself. My problem is with HP. While puchasing through HP's website seemed like a good option, i quickly realized i had been misled about the time it would take to receive the new laptop. Lets just say I will never do that again

Great Computer great features you can hook up multiple devices at one time. My only hiccups just screen just needs more vibrant colors otherwise excellent price and I recommend getting 1900 display will be awesome 2nd option is good though. Great benefits you can customize it to your liking. Computer is not expensive at all unless you upgrade to the top features even so you still head of game. Great investment

My last several laptops have all been HP's. I like the keyboard and the screen and the overall configuration of the keys. I also like 17 inch monitors because it is easier for me to see larger text and it will fit on the screen better. I have bought them lots of different ways some through Sam's Club some through other box stores And several online through HP. I like to be able to configure my device exactly the way I like as far as a memory hard drive and processor are concerned. I ordered my newest laptop in May after I noticed a significant discount on configurations that I had priced several months earlier. It took some time for it to be delivered as it came from Thailand, but it was delivered on time according to their schedule and in good condition, I was pleasantly surprised to see that it had a fingerprint reader built in which I would have ordered, had there been an option for that but there was not. I am not an HP employee, I press the button and now I cannot turn it off.

Needs more usb ports. Tracking pad causes a goid deal of crazy actoons on screen. Not HP's fault, but Windows 11 is poor campared to Windows 10 which was poor compared to ...ad nausium. Good screen size. Good keyboard.
