The SRX828SP is powered by Crown's proprietary front-end DriveCore technology, boasting a massive 2000W power rating, the highest in its class. This ensures the delivery of massive sound pressure levels with exceptional headroom, extremely low distortion, and absolute clarity throughout its frequency range.
This subwoofer system is equipped with JBL's patented Differential Drive Technology ferrite drivers, incorporating 3" voice coils with lower mass ferrite magnets. This innovative technology results in reduced weight, increased power handling, exceptionally low distortion, and extended low-frequency response.
The SRX828SP also features a full suite of user-controllable DSP, driven by the powerful onboard 400MHz Sharc DSP. This includes 20 PEQ's, 2 seconds of delay, signal generators, input mixing, amplifier monitoring, and 50 user presets. The system is compatible with V5 JBL Tunings, providing compatibility with JBL's flagship Vertec and VTX touring systems.
For easy setup and configuration, an integrated LCD screen is included. The design is purposeful and ergonomic, with handles for easy, non-fatiguing grip, M10 suspension points, indexed feet, and pole/tripod mounts for a wide array of configurations.
The SRX828SP is also equipped with full HiQnet Network Integration, simplifying system configuration and automating the control interface configuration. Control options include Audio Architect, HiQnet Motion ControlTM iOS app, and standalone applications for iOS and Android.
